Are you saying that besides the card on the drone you can put the second card on the RC. We are begginers with a DJI mini 4 pro, my daughter is in Spain doing a Geology mapping project for her degree and I need to advise her. She has the drone but only one card (a Sony recommended one) but we are sending her the SanDisk one exactly as you show. What do you recommend based on your many years of experience. We are also sending her a card reader USB for the PC to bring down the footage rather than the slower ap to the phone.
Yes you can put an sd card in the controller. Main use is for screen recording, snap shots and downloading offline maps. It can also be used as a spare for the drone. USB readers are a useful if you want to transfer to pc 👍 quick transfer to the phone is quite easy and quick too. There is a video on my channel showing this.
@@nobby-green the thing is it’s showing me update of RC dji fly app but when if i press download nothing happens! :( and for aircraft firmware it’s not even showing it
I noticed a oscillation on the attitude indicator at 6:52 during RTH. For sure there is a problem... I have the same oscillating problem with my mini 4 pro. It manly occurs when I fly with goggles and motion controller. See the video on my channel
@@fabiocrucilloramos all I can see is the drone fighting the wind. The horizontal bar indicators are moving up and down. This happens with gusts blowing. Very similar to your video
thnk you so much. You are a very plesant man and I like the way you present everything and the test flight as well. I always like to hear from you before I run any uodate. The mini 4 pro is a sweet drone,. and I am still waiting for that darn 95 dollar price to drop on the extended batteries. I have the lower power one and use my mini 3 batteries for now. That is annoying at 95 bucks each for the extended ones. Ray C Florida Thanks mate.
Hello, just found your channel. My Mini 4 Pro crashed yesterday with RTH. Signal to controller went from Full to nothing in a second not even a weak signal warning. My drone never told me to update anything until today even tho I was flying it on Friday and yesterday before the crash. Do you think it has anything to do with what you said in the video about transmission? If so will DJI take responsibility. I also had a Hardware malfunction warning after signal loss
Nothing to do with the transmission. Looks like a hardware problem and it malfunctioned. You can check the details on the flight log but I would contact DJI nevertheless 👍 if it was a malfunction they will sort it if proven.
Thanks Nobby. Im really wondering about the LOUSY QUALITYCONTROL BY DJI ! The saying comes into my mind: "Master, I finished the work. Should I already repair it"...
Hi it's john again. Last night night l downloaded the 13.9 on my mobile app and it downloaded quick with no problems. Would this mean l can download this to my rc2 with no problems? Oh by the way am from the Philippines. I was just concerned about Shawns rc2 going white and not responding causing him to reboot. I don't really know how to reboot. Thoughts anyone? Thanks😊
Hi Nobby . Thanks for the info. I am a little hesitant to download the 1.13.9 firmware because Shawn's experience downloading it. He even had to reboot his rc2 controller and start over to get it done. Just want to know if Shawn's experience is common for everyone who downloaded the 13.9 update. If this is just an isolated experience then maybe l try and download it. Hopefully it also fix my quickshots issue. What do you think? Thanks for your quick response as always.
Kudos to DJI for taking only two days to fix the waypoint bug they introduced in 1.13.8 . The 1.13.9 update fixed the waypoint issues in RC2 for both my Mini 4 Pro and Air3
Hello there. I am writing to inquire about a recent issue I encountered with my Mini 4. It appears that the obstacle avoidance or vision sensor may not be functioning properly, as the device collided with a wall. I would greatly appreciate your guidance in diagnosing the sensor. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Heck yea! It’s available now and it uploaded with no problems ere in the US. That’s not to say it won’t blow up my drone when I get a chance to test it though. Hahaha
@@nobby-green I watched your new update view last time 1.13.8 and I was trying to update my m4p, unfortunately it won't let me. So I decided to try it now and it comes up with 1.13.9 😂😂😂. You're videos are awesome and informative Keep it up👍🏾
My firmware is Mini4 Pro 01.00.0300 and RC2 02.00.0500, it works perfectly and I will never update it for any reason, I also removed the wifi password from the RC2 so I can't do any updates. I am of the opinion that if something works perfectly there is no reason to change it.
Didn't get any Chinese writing on mine as was watching it while it was doing the update. All messages were in English. That seems odd. It says "During the update it will take about 2 minutes" Out of interest what number of ND filter were you using for the test flight you did. The sky has come out lovely in that! I've seen a few people saying the transmission changes are possibly for the DJI 4G Dongle which I believe is now available for the UK. Not sure if that's correct or not though.
In this video there was no nd filter just a UV which I always use. Yes I believe it is the 4g dongle they are referring to. I got the message in both Chinese and English 😁 thanks 🙏
Bug in this DJI Fly update (1.13.8). Any newly saved waypoint missions will crash the DJI Fly app when loaded back in.. I have RC2 and Air 3.. other users are experiencing the same issue, not just me.
