Hi Leyla! Thank you for sharing these wonderful Turkish recipes! Your tour was my best trip ever and now Im really enjoying your wonderful channel! Best of luck!
Thank you very much. After being away from Bodrum in the winter for so long I’m really enjoying it this year. I hope you get the chance to spend next winter here, too:-))
we are very envious of your beautiful home and we remember our trip with you years ago exploring the history of Bodrum and Ephesus and Cappadocia and many other places. Hope we can repeat our visit someday and have some coffee with you
Dear Leyla, Like your recipe and the way of presenting very much. I had octopus stifado in Thessaloniki with Pearl onions and I guess cinnamon. It was a way thicker than your stew but I will definitely try this one out. The object in the middle is the beak and not the eye. Just cut until the beak and remove it. Cutting around the “eye” is a waste of the flesh. 😁
Dear Hakan, thank you very much for your comment. It is a great idea to make stifado with octopus instead of red meat. Yes, I realized that was the beak not the eye as I was editing the video but it was too late:-)). I should have put a text there.
This was really good! I followed the recipe pretty much exactly using garden tomatoes and a mix of mild and medium heat green peppers that were available that day at the grocery store. The octopus was so tender and the sauce was really flavorful...really glad we had nice bread to sop it up with. Thanks for the recipe and the beautiful video!
Looooove your channel❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I recently started drinking Turkish coffee, the Turkish coffee pot was when I bought it very beautiful and pinkish, but after a few days I’m seeing the colour has changed, I want to know is that OK? I also have Turkish coffee cups but I prefer more drinking in espresso cup... is that also OK for Turkish coffee please let me know???
404 not found I’m glad you are enjoying my channel. Is your coffee pot made of copper? If so, that explains the color change. In that case you shouldn’t use it till you can have it polished. Drinking Turkish coffee in espresso cups is fine. Their size and forms are almost the same.
