At first I was thinking 15inch with a donny FL on it. However, you're not going to quite down a .457, also reloading it really noisy as well. Now thinking on is a 15 inch model with a mussel break on it. Get a extended mag to 12 shots and with Two air tanks on in back and in front, 300ish fpe is okay for me.
sorry , i need you and everyone else to help macabespeed , felony court today. possession of assault weapon in california. his name is brett stevens. thanks. please get everyone else on it. gotta be unconstitutional l; cali is trying to say semi auto is an assault weapon , (i do not know if that is this situation but i know mac, it is probably an air gun like the s45 or something. or a hatsan blitz. but even so , no matter what , get him som e help would ya please. thank you. the last word
@@theshooterszone yes but they sell the same one with a choice of different fps at 2 different prices $80 or $100 which I thought was cheap since I've seen these elsewhere for around $150.
Thanks for your video. I noticed that on his web page [DonnyFL] it said that orders online are temporarily stopped.. I would like to buy a moderator for my Gauntlet .30. Any info on acquring the best moderator for my air rifle would be greatly appreciated
For sure, human error is always involved in hunting. This airgun have been brand new at the time is the only airgun that cocks like this so getting use to cocking it can take some time. But while hunting you can also cock it and set the safety until you need to fire it.
Great video! I'm a complete beginner. How much to tighten the CO2 piercing screw? Normal level tightness, firm tightness, or extra firm tightness? I also noticed you placed the CO2 reverse of what the manual advises. Did you switch it up behind the scenes, or does it work either way? Thanks.
Be nice of they made this exact rifle or the wood grain one with fpe of at least 70 or 80 withoit changing the looks of it. I hatw the ones with the ugly cans on them. To me this is asthetically appealing. Looks like a real rifle.
Ever experience an oily leak where the barrel meets the breech? New XR Mag owner and its actually splattering the underside of the optic, the airtank and barrel itself...
@@theshooterszone My thoughts as well. Purchased through Airguns of Arizona and have reached out regarding the issue. Sales dept claims it's normal but obviously leaking air at the POC. 🤔
@@cliffcox7643Yeah, .22 is much quieter. You can buy a few extra baffles to extend this if you want to soften it even more. There are a few other reviews with a .22 using this and other Donnyfl moderators. You can easier get a .22 down to just hearing the valve open and the spring.
A year and less than 100 likes . . . At least some people still have enough good sense I want to see something besides a bunch of grown men with high-dollar are guns doing nothing but shooting paper . . Shoot an egg or an Apple at 80 yards . . . At least that would have some enjoyment . . . Just because your gun shoots a certain groove and you have a certain skill with shooting . . That's got nothing to do with other people's skill and their guns . . . Watching grown men with expensive are guns shooting nothing but paper . . . Is like watching somebody take a crap that is very constipated . . . Damn what a boring video . . . Personally I'd rather watch a three-ring monkey show with the monkeys taking a s*** in the center ring .
We have a new Talon P Carbine and can’t get near the velocity you are getting. 650fps with wheel cranked all the way up to 13 and using JSB 25gr pellets. Any suggestions. Enjoyed the video.
Just bought this gun, and is accurate. My issue is that the Co2 cartridge that goes in first never punctures. Have any idea what to do about that? Like your videos.
Yeah, they sell a Quick Disconnect fitting. It comes with one, you’d just need to buy one for your other gun. You could go up a caliber too if you wanted. If you had a .30 and a .22, you could buy a .30 moderator and use it on the .22 too.
I enjoy your videos and have subscribed and liked. But one observation that I see is that MANY American air gunners forget that it's always good practice to hold the barrel when the rifle is cocked, while loading the pellet.. just in case of a failure to engage the sear. This would send the barrel arcing back to the closed position and could cause serious injury. For us here in Europe this is very much the norm, but even though many Americans are taught early about making sure that a firearm is empty, always clearly showing this to their audience on any videos, airgun safety seems much less ingrained in shooting culture.
My Diana is supposed to arrive tomorrow (5/21/24) so this is video is what I need to see to see how to operate it, and to validate that the accuracy I was looking for is there. Good news about the trigger spring too. Very well done video!! One question - this will be be my anti-pigeon device so it will be left with the CO2 cannister in it. Any idea how long that will hold a charge? New gun, Crosman cartridges, and some PellgunOil. Should I take some 3,000 wet/dry sandpaper to the end of the cartridge to ensure a better seal against the o-ring??
I love my Talon -P's gen 1 (2012 ) in 25 caliber and my gen 2 (2016 ) regular tank in 22 caliber . The gen 1 is not spin-loc so I just unscrew the tank without tools and throw it into my backpack . Very convenient . Also have the Talon SS and the Condor not spin-loc.
Beautiful piece I love shouldn't afford yards. Give me an idea if I ever go hunting what I'm gonna get a 25. It's far enough I don't have to change my point of a fifty
Not sure I understand everything you are asking but it's a great shooter out to 109yrds for medium game and poi does change so you will need to use your scope drop gauge accordingly.
😢 Can you please suggest me do element max .45 caliber is better or . .50 umarex hammer is better. Which is more powerful and ergonomic and hardy for long and frequent use. Wait your suggestion would be obliged And thankful.
The Hammer has much more power and I like the ergonomics of it as well especially the new Hammer Carbine. The .457 caliber though has great power and there are more options available for slugs.
