It's a really small detail but I love how as soon as Gun-Di realises Keeli is still alive he falls back to try and cover him. He spends some of his last moments trying to deflect blaster bolts from not only himself but his captain. Kinda dope
When I watched this in the cinemas back in 2013 I think, this scene was the one that really gave me the goosebumps. The music, the visual and General Zods character. His determination regardless of how much mighty & painful force was used to keep him and his army away through damnation, it never effected his judgement. He fought for his belief till the end. He truly earned his place as a military general of krypton. It was also emotional for Lara as it was also farewell to her son who will carry the heavy responsibility and face the battle that is to come in the future.
I respect his reasoning for selling. I just wished I was a little more educated about how the industry works and about the caliber of people that were taking over such responsability... Since then, every production that has come out of those peoples hands is just a massive diarreia of confusing and senseless shots at this huge Star Wars brand that GL started, but unfortunately will never be great again.
