What is the height of the tool? Trying to find the dimensions online but it keeps giving me the insert. I want to make sure it fits where I intend to store it.
Hey mate, the skylights would be fine it’s the flashing that might be the problem, you would need to remove some of the insulation to allow room for the flashing to slide under if that makes sense
Looks like it's worth picking up. Honestly, could have used this tool when my co-worker and I re-purposed a broken broom-handle into a short but still useful dust-pan handle. Had the pan for years, just needed the type of handle that screws into the socket. Two useless items combined into one useful one.
Thanks, appreciate the feedback, you could absolutely start them off in this setup and move them to a flood and drain system where they have a bit more room to grow, I have had great success with lettuce in this setup
Wow mate! just coming across this playlist! absolutely awesome work. I'll be doing my currently open front verandah on pavers as well to convert it into an indoor outdoor mudroom with new decking and aluminium slats etc just to have some space for shoes etc. Nothing like what you've done but the extra space is so required. honestly mate, amazing work and thank you for putting in so much effort into the videos! Can't wait to watch them all.
Thanks mate appreciate the feedback and glad your enjoying the videos, I have finished the project now and have a couple of hours of videos to edit and upload, will be sharing shortly 👍🏻 thanks for watching
Thanks mate, I’ve used pretty expensive materials eg james Hardie board, tas oak etc and porcelain marble tiles (video to come) all up cost me around 40k would be well cheaper if you used plaster and carpet, depends on your taste and budget, well worth it but, we love it
Great Vid. I have just purchased the black one and was scouring their site for packaging/transport dimensions. For transporting, was it boxed in such a way that the overheads were on top of the base? Trying to work out if it will fit on my tray top. Cheers.
I purchased this kit on Amazon Canada for a very reasonable price of ~ $55.00 CAD. I adapted it to my Bosh Mr23EVS plunge base router by adding 2 extra holes in the base plate. I made a few experimental bowls and discovered that the very small wood screw that holds the router in place was getting loose as the device was rotating and did not produce accurate circles. I solved the problem by drilling a 4mm hole in the work and using a bolt type screw of 15mm length which gave me a more secure fit and accurate circles. If Milescraft could develop a better way to secure the device other than a 1/2 " wood screw, this jig would be the best router tool on the market.
Thanks, loving it, I should have built one years ago, I do however need to get an armless chair or one that the arms fold up to allow me to sit up a bit higher as the monitor is a bit high to look up at
Awesome video, answered the exact question I had in mind. Do you think the extra 1000 or so rpm really helps for polishing? Also did you do the entire car as in every panel with only that polisher 😮?
Thanks mate glad you liked the vid, absolutely the extra rpm makes a difference, I use this for sanding quite a bit and the extra speed is unreal. I did just a couple of panels on my car for the vid, it’s a bit small to do the whole car, leave at for the 18v machine which I have also 👍🏻
@@Homeonthetools yeah I’ve used a pad on a drill and it didn’t really work well. Never really occurred to me that it might be the rpm. I bought one and I’m excited either way. The sanding feature with the twist lock discs is awesome and it saves me from using a pneumatic tool which makes my compressor run constantly. Not sure if you know but you can also get twist lock scotch brite pads which are awesome for finishing steel.
@@Homeonthetools thanks. Yep been pretty disspointed with the UK options. I guess with the lack of sunshine these companies may believe that we don't care about our lawns here in the UK!
@spacemanwho grab an Aussie one on Amazon with free international delivery if you can find it, I buy quite a bit of stuff from the UK, I’m sure there are plenty of lawnies over your way
G'day mate, good job it looks like it's coming together well. Just a quick question: I've been looking to do the same with my pergola, the only concern I had was moisture collecting under the roof. Does ventilation keep that to a minimum, or did you install some moisture barrier between the roof sheets and the insulation to help minimise ventilation? Really like the cladding and skylights:)
Hey mate, I have had no problems with moisture, the roof ventilation with the corrugated sheets sitting on the rafters is letting enough free flowing air through to combat this, I might add this is how the rest of the existing home is built as well, if you were super concerned you could add foil board insulation but would no doubt be pricey, I have just finished my build and have another vid going up shortly, all finished now was well worth it 😀good luck with your build 👍🏻
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks. I just moved into a house where the gardens will need edging and iv been looking into this. Loved the fact you covered the ryobi attachment as well. How are you getting on. Are you still using it with the ryobi?
Glad you enjoyed the vid, yep still using this same set up at least once a week, just keep the grease up to it maybe every 6 weeks, still cuts perfect 👌
Heat the sand up with the oven as in the video, I tried a couple of other methods to heat the pipes like a heat gun but only sand worked so that’s the go 👍🏻
Hey mate, the bench has held up really well, only compliant is you can fit charging packs through the cable management in the back which I believe the new models have corrected, would buy again for sure
@@Homeonthetools thank you for the follow up. In the United States it looks like this is sold by Costco under the name Trinity Pro. It's reasonably priced for how big it is. I see your model has the top hutch with flip open doors. Some are sold without it.
I have this same edger and it is one of the best Ryobi products I’ve purchased. Does a much better job than the 18V string edgers and well worth the price. Great video 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks so much for the video, I am currently in the process of constructing something similar. I appreciated the longer video and explanation of each step (and the things to keep in mind). I look forward to your next video on the decking. cheers
