I would love to see any kind of controlled study on this. Population studies are interesting, but it's almost impossible to determine cause and effect. Far too many things have changed over the last hundred years to say that one thing is behind all those observations.

I believe wholeheartedly that carb reduction and healthy fats are life enhancing and potential life prolonging. However I find the comparison to earlier eras misleading. The average life expectancy in 1900 was below 50 so it’s hardly a wonder that they didn’t suffer from to many problems with heart disease and dementia. One more thing tobacco consumption was very low until a few years into World War One where it started a monumental rise. Happily it peaked in 1963-64 but the usage is still way to high. To my way of thinking smoking and obesity (to many carbs and to much highly processed food). Quality of fats are obviously on my list as well but fall below the 2 main killers. Oh and by the way I am a not more qualified to make these statements than most others. So take my view with a pinch of salt 🤔unless you’re having a to high blood pressure 😆 Greetings from Denmark

so I have 486 nmol/L LPa. my apo B is 160mg/dL (2909 nmol/L). So, 1of 6 of my apoB/LDL is LPa. So, if I get bloodwork to measure oxidized LDL you hypothesize that it would be the same number as my LPa reading. wow, do I really want to know that!? for $170 I can find out.

The vegan Godman Dr McDougall died a few days ago, a heart attack. He was extremely frail, suffered with dementia and very poor overall health for years. Jay Dinshah, the founder of the American Vegan Society died of a massive heart attack at 66. I certainly wish Micheal Greger no ill health, but dollars to vegan donuts he's next. He's 51 and physically appears in his early 70s. Vegans debate down below 👇

very helpful to see the stats. Thank you. However the native people's diets which are great are also people that have a lot less stress (their stress is more likely the kind that strengthens them), and alot less environmental issues (toxins). These are key factors in these diseases. However the vegetable oils are poisons... I stopped them when I left home at 20. However these toxins stay in the body and are hard to remove. What I find confusing is that Vitamin E is supposed to help, yet most Vit E are soy, or sunflower at best (both seed oils!!!)

6 months after starting them I started experiencing massive dizzy spells....I've also lost my ballance often putting it down to all kinds of possibilities including age!! Not quite ready to express myself that deeply right now as I'm also bereaved...& need some sleep. They were prescribed in 2019 and spells of initial dizzy spells in lockdown 2020...it's now June 2024 & last few months began binning say, 15 out of 30...and currently im TOTALLY without...ive had so many falls, broke 2 tables, almost broke two legs on separate falls, whacked my head on another, more recently when grabbing something to lessen the impact got a cut above my elbow, so many close calls. Instead I've put myself on berbarine extract & fully plan to take up swimming & gym again...making myself walk so forgoing the bus or underground...these darn You Tube videos may have saved my life. I've started calling statins chemical lobotomy's!! My mum died of Alzheimer's or did she?? Now I'm wondering, as her description of her brain spins resemble mine EXACTLY!!

I have been vegan for 14 years. After I got sick with covid, my life turned into a nightmare for about 3 years. I lost connection to whom I was; I had cognitive, mental, hormonal issues, panic attacks, major flashbacks, among myriad of other symptoms. It turns out I had neurotoxicity (from a root canal), which I treated with chelation. Heavy metal detox together with gradually eliminating plants let to my complete recovery. I have been 95% carnivore for the past 3 months and I have fully recovered! I eat pasture raised meat, eegs, a bit of raw cheese. I went back to school to pursue phd and I am thriving. This way of eating saved my life and allowed me to heal my nervous system, which was completely destroyed by neurotoxins from the root canal. I am pretty sure you can heal too. Try it for a few months and feel the incredible positive difference in your well-being. Sending radiance your way <3

13:00 I just don’t believe that a population of people can be fit and healthy on under 20g of protein a day (assuming 3,000 calorie a day diet). There has to be other protein and probably other fat sources missing from the data. Most of the other information is great. Just highly skeptical of that one.

So no one is concerned about how people on a fibre-less diet pass stool? That should definitely leave a mark on your digestive system 😂😂😂 if constipation is real then we all need fiber. Even our ancestors knew this and had it in their diet.

Lots of people got sick, suffered and had their lives ruined. Lots of people died prematurely. So what's the problem? Lots of people made fortunes. It is what is commonly characterized as man's inhumanity to man! Perfectly normal behavior when money and politics are involved. Remember, when money talks congress is all ears! When money tells congress what must happen, it happens!

I dont know about this theory. If this is true, then it would mean that Innuits and Eskimo are champions in heart disease, but actually it does not happen. Quite the opposite, countries like Sri Lanka which have a lot of sun are actually among the firsts in heart disease prevalence.

BS studies about no insulin needs for protein on low carb. Every type 1 diabetic on low carb needs substatntial insulin amounts for protein.

Why do we continue to discuss this. The anecdotal evidence and scientific evidence is overwhelming! What wasn’t fully covered was ADT and mental disorders of youth. The shortage of animal protein and animal fats in young kids is likely the underlying cause. Throw your corn oil out and scarf a ribeye!
