Imagine if he tries to throw a tantrum in order to be a healthy scratch any time he has to play against Philly, (and I guess also Pittsburgh, since Crosby is his idol). 🤣
Thanks Patrick Stefan for being the reason why Chicago will not shut up about claiming to be hockeytown USA, when it is suppose to be Detroit with the Redwings.
And after watching the series between the Bruins and Panthers and the cross check on Coyle which wasn’t called and the Sucker Punch 🥊 on Marchand which wasn’t called I find that the NHL has lost. The officiating must be always the same. Or else why would you watch this game 😢
Just like the Leafs and Kings when Gretzky hight sticker Gilmore. Fraser didn't call the obvious call . He was on the take . Bettman wanted LA to win the cup but unfortunately for him Montreal beat them .
Not to make this comment all about Toronto, but despite being one of the better regular season teams for 7 years running, the biggest reason they fail is Toronto itself. The fans and media are the absolute worst. You can see it on the players faces before the puck is dropped....every year, they pick apart whomever the scapegoat is... why anyone would want to play for that city escapes me. Its great to watch players get traded or dropped then win a cup elsewhere in their first year... over and over.
The lindros thing is so lazy. Lindros told Quebec he wouldn't play there and they got a haul. William Gauthier told the team he wanted to play and then ghosted them with no explanation. Not saying Lindros did the right thing but it's not the same.
Kesler number 17 for Canucks was the only player to get the team to where the Canucks went. He was the player who scored 90 percent of the goals. The rest of them, another story.
Of course that's not a good goal. Completely ridiculous. Add to that panthers cheap-shot and flop their way to the final. I hope the rangers clear the ice of the classless asshats, and then address the whimpering putrid idiot of a coach. PS Barkov is the only one who shows any class.
"Never cheated the game to create offense..." I am a lifelong (40+ years) two-way hockey player, and the floaters, coasters and cherry pickers have always irked me to no end. If I am doing everything I can to win the game everywhere on the ice and the only thing you are doing is trying to score a goal for 15 seconds of glory, we're gonna have problems and you're not going to like me very much.
I hope my oilers win tonight. We need the victory more than Vancouver. Vancouver fans have so much to look forward next season and they don’t need this victory. If Edmonton loses again and better yet, loses to a cup champ again they are in clear shoot the team to the moon because if the oilers get to the third round and lose in game 7 (doubt that’ll happen against Dallas) I can see drai and mcdavid running it back and signing contracts but if we lose again in round 2, I can see drai pulling a Nylander and not signing until season is almost over OR not signing at all. Next season will definitely decide Draisaitls fate if he doesn’t resign this summer
The only thing that makes me cry is how terrible the officiating is, ITS BAD. It was Bruins vs. Refs the whole series. Brutal. Even Vancouver vs Edmonton is terrible. I just hope it wont be the Rangers vs. Refs coming up.
Ppl give sports gambling alot of shit, but I was never interested in hockey for 27 years of my life until I started betting on it. This season I haven't bet on NHL at all, but have still been following it as a casual fan. It's a good sport. I'm a soccer fan and it's basically the same sport on steroids lmao. Everything is just way faster and more aggressive
I noticed your stance on the NHL being rigged changed within a year. Last year you posted a video saying clearly that the NHL isn't rigged. Now you just do play by play and don't really say it like that. The doubt has been creeping in your mind. The NHL IS rigged. Just for very specific situations. Money rules the world. If the NHL sees the opportunity to make a ton load of money, it will jump on the occasion. The best way to make long term money is to expand markets that have yet to be fully exploited. Right now, it's the Panthers. Before them, Vegas. This has been going on for decades. Nobody in the NHL will ever say it because nothing can be proven, none of this is written on paper or in some hard drive. But I bet that if someone would wiretap the top secret board of governors meetings we would hear some juicy stuff. The board of governors doesn't care about the game or the fans, they care about profits. By favorizing teams with growing market potential vs teams who "peaked" like the Canadiens, Leafs, Bruins, etc. they greatly expand their revenue in the long term because that part of the revenue ( TV contracts ) is shared evenly across the league. Because as much as the most established teams make - and they do generate a lot - they can't get a sudden boom in revenue unlike teams like Florida, Vegas, Carolina, etc.. They know the hardcore fans who see and call out the injustice played game after game will stick to the game and keep consuming their product anyway. Pro sports leagues like the NHL, NFL or MLB figured out that since they are pretty much the only top tier league in their sports in America and will maintain that monopoly forever, they can do whatever they want. People nowadays will agree that the Olympics are corrupt and often times the events with judges or officials are rigged. Well, it's time to wake up and realize nothing in elite pro sports leagues stops them from rigging their events too. And with gambling made legal in America, you can BET people are gonna rig games anyway.
