What is the size range for around a 4 year old orange banded flavifasciata uromastyx? I read that adults average around 50cm but mine is about 4 years old is mabie about 10 inches in length he eats good his temperatures are correct his lighting is correct but my adult uromastyx geyri have more mass to them than my 4 year old flavifasciata. Do you think it's acceptable to continue soliciting donations to help support paying for animal food, utilities and employee wages while at the same time posting ads on major Reptile Buy/Sell Websites looking to buy different species of reptiles. It appears now that funds that people donate are now being used to buy animals and not for the purposes you promote on your website.
Males usually show interest in females during only several days. Once a female is gravid - they loose their interest. Females are gravid about 25-30 days. I have done close to 300 males and 400 females of my breeding collection and have to say that all but two were accurate as these animals were all bred.
I sex all mine with tail to body ratio. Males have longer tails in ratio to their body length. Females are shorter. I find headxand body shape means very little.
