I CANNOT STAND the normal Sekai version of this song, I used to listen to the Ichika alt but I had to stop because it annoyed me so much, this is my saving grace 🥰🥰 (maybe there could even be a remake now that the full alts are out 🤔)
Ok this sounds WAYY better than the og lol But its still not as amazing as their usual covers and I think the audio quality is the reason for it which is unfortunately something we cant change Their voices sound like they're doing karaoke and not an actual official cover of a song But yeah otherwise they dont sound so bad
the akian gimme x gimme cover made me think giga was a failure but this was is slightly better but i still kinda dont like akian covers much other than echo and traffic jam! (I dont ship the ship btw)

It sounds so much better! Their voices work so well together but everyone uses the cover as an excuse to hate on the ship or just hate on their voices when it’s clearly the mixing issue!
I legit listen to this everyday. It's so good! The line division is genius! I was sold on just Shiho and Ichika, but Len being there as well really made it amazing.

for lagtrain, my opinion on it is that it should have been kanade and ena because i think it woukd sound much better imo also meiko goes from sounding like miku to sounding like meiko and then sounding like luka which confuses me a bit. rin is better suited for it
This is fourth year btw, as we've already had 3rd anniversary (It's okay I get mixed up with time too) And I definetly agree this is one of the better years since I dont think we've gotten an outright bad comission this year! i love you being real about straight up saying "im just not into the song so the cover ranked low" like yes this is what i want to see! more subjectivity! we are here to have fun! i'd never heard netsu ijou before hearing the leak like a week before the song got into the game and ive legitimately never been more excited for a song to be released. like the moment i heard it i knew we were getting out of the empty sekai with this one
