I really wish they could have sung it in the original key, though it's probably for the best (singing that high for most of the song would definitely hurt the VA's voices lol)
Although I like the lower pitch of they originally sang, this version does sound good too I want to see either idsmile or patchwork staccato in original pitch, since the lower pitch kinda ruined the song for me(I still love the cover, but it just less beautiful than the origin)
@yourlocaltheaterkid3537 eh no, like the rest of the commissions, Filament Fever was a song written entirely based on Tsukasa, on the plot of the event "A Story Where You Are the Star" and the feelings of all the members of worderland x showtime. Not to mention that ColoPale paid Kuriyama Yuri for the song and therefore, the company has the rights to the song to do with it whatever they want. So yes, it is valid to say that the Sekai version is the same or even more original than the vs only version and this takes more strength when we take into account that there are commissions that do not even have a vs only version, but only a sung reference by the same composer for ColoPale to use as a guide (as in the case of "What Sort of Ending Are You Wishing For?" for example)
