Being a contractor that works in and around a major city, planning and zoning is a fucking nightmare at times to deal with. I can totally understand this guys frustration because most likely it was a case of "this guy is buddies with this guy and his friend owns X business and knows this other guy" type bullshit that's common in small towns.
people make the enemies they deserve and both parties usually deserve each other. a guy that uses armored cars or unjust legal systems to mess with someone else's life is a fucking jerk, not a hero. you be gifting and you know it. makes you kinda a bad person too, should someone else decide it's OK to do bad things because of that judgement? bulldozer guy made some enemies and his enemies made an enemy. I don't care about what assholes do to each other. I hope they all lost.

It does sound very much like a female killer or a duo or even group, although I think the chances go down the more people are involved in the killing, no? I'm not really familiar with the statistics on that but a young woman for bait as part of a duo or larger group is not unheard of, I think.
I feel like the cops do this (hiding crucial details about a case) to prevent people from figuring out the case or part of it. The cops are the ones who want to figure it out, if other party did the populace would think the cops are useful or competent. Like anyone could do their job, but cops don’t want people thinking that. They want to be perceived as the only ones who can do what they do. Protecting their value, basically. As we alll know any analytical person could do police work as good if not better than the actual police. It’s a blue coller job after all.
It does always seem to boil down to an old crank wanting to shit up the place. Sorry, I just find it impossible to feel bad for the guy who decided to go on a rampage instead of take the money he agreed to take and do near literally anything else with it. E: It is rare to be 'required' to give someone else an easement through your property, though it is common to 'sell' an easement. So obviously serial killers usually do have a "type" of victim but I think there are probably smart ones who have learnt that that is what the police look for. With the amount of true crime stuff around nowadays I do wonder how many serial killers are actually out there... The "smart" ones so to speak, who don't have a "type" of victim or an MO.
