You probably have to reboot the router after changing any of those settings. Hardware offloading only works on MT7610 chipsets like I am sending this through. I have been having youtube hangs so I turned off packet steering and it looks promising but I need more tests.
Dude you saved me. I wanted to install OpenWRT on a computer system and I couldn't provide an ethernet network card for the motherboard, but I use this switch instead, which made my job easier.
Hello, I installed it and connected it to the Zyxel FWA505 router via 1Gbps LAN cable. downloading it gives me the full speed that the Cira 700Mbps router gives me, but uploading the speedtest is slow about 2Mbps. Connecting the PC to the uploaded router I have about 100Mbps, connecting to the access point I have 2Mbps, but downloading instead it's all right. Can you tell me what the problem might be? Thank you!
@VanTechCorner My internet connection is 1600mbps/45mbps. My ISP is going to be increasing the upload soon. I have a 2.5gb modem. What router would you recommend out of all the ones you have tested so far?
Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to organize such a connection with this device: provider cable in input lan #1 -> manipulation with traffic on zimaboard, for example, ovpn/vless -> modified traffic output from lan #2 to the router? I'm afraid to buy in vain.. I would be grateful for an answer. Thanks in advance
If using the WRT1900ACSv2, you can get the Stock firmware from Linksys Support, Use the GUI upgrade on OpenWRT 21/22/23/34 to revert to Stock. From there, use the Linksys GUI to reinstall OpenWRT 19. It's unfortunate that DSA has this impact on speeds.
doesnt work it says WAN is offline even though im literally using that to write this comment. the fallback is unplugged. update: nvmd, the interface names in LUCI can differ form those in /etc/config/network. i fixed it by changing WAN to wan.

why was the speed 200 MB on the computer when I started the vpn connection, and when I installed it on the router, the speed on the same PC dropped to 20 MB? It's the same on Wi-Fi, from 60 to 15 MB
Respected Sir, i have installed the OpenWRT on archer C6U and it my bad luct that i am unable to install samba server because the /overlay has not sufficient memory , then i tried to EXTROOT the memory does increase to the external usb HDD but still the samba server does not install saying insufficient memory. i have installed openVPN on the router which is acting as aconnector connected to OPEN-vpn on the web.
