This is a channel telling the tale of a little old lady who wanted to become young once again and enjoy all the fun and frivolity of her youth. Alas, her body had endured much through the years and she groaned and moaned from many aches and pains as she went about her daily chores.
Then, one day, she saw a magic doctor on RU-vid telling of things she had never heard of before. So, she listened and read, and researched all over Internet Land and felt better just learning these things. She thought, "if it worked for so many others, why not me too?" Her journey began, and she hoped to encourage and help others like her by sharing this information.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love it if you would like/subscribe to my channel!

Thank you for this video! I'm late 50's no gallbladder for a few years now. Been keto for over 2 years...carnivore 1 week and 1/2 and lord, I'm scared to leave the house due to the bowl movements 🙄.. I pray this too shall pass 🙏 but I will continue my journey and just lower the fat intake and add chicken and lean protein back in. Again, thank you for sharing.

😀 I hear ya girl! Since my fat intake dropped, I am no longer having issues with it, but it was a definite problem in the beginning. You are probably near the end of the trots! Have faith and thanks for responding!

Yes...so first 2 weeks were rough, but then it was normal again. I did gain weight and my energy level was up, but after almost month 2, I lost that high energy. I weened back into keto more and visiting with my vascular doctor in August regarding (abdominal) steatosis...😔

Honestly, not long after this challenge my world sort of bottomed out for a couple of years but I am back on track once again. The good part is that I didn't gain but 5 pounds of the weight I had lost during that time. Thanks for asking! I hope you are doing well 😊

Hi Leslee! Thanks for stopping by and asking these good questions. In reply, I would like to refer you to some great informational videos by Dr. Ken Berry. This first one is a 3-minute interview video to get you started: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yhtPaTPFu8A.html The second video is a 6 min informative video where he explains what is going on with your body without the gallbladder and how to deal with it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-36SU_31rNxE.html Lastly is the longest on being 20 minutes, but very informative on how to do the carnivore diet properly so you can succeed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xE383evpvXM.html I would suggest you watch these videos in the order I have put them on here so you can see the progression of the steps you should probably take in order to succeed in your journey. Personally, I didn't take anything extra when I was doing straight carnivore, however, I tried doing it sort of fast and I had diarrhea for about 2 weeks straight (I mention that in one of these videos as having the scours...I am a farm girl and that's what they call it when the cows get diarrhea, lol). Once I got through that though, my body started adjusting. Keep that in mind! The body is a miraculous piece of equipment that changes and heals itself. Good luck with your venture and keep me posted on how you are doing!

Ok. I got it. Thanks so much. I’ve not got diarrhea as of yet, but I am feeling some pain in my ol gallbladder site. Maybe not pain but twinges, so I worry that the fat is just harming my liver. Thank you so much for the referrals to Berry!!! Take care. 👏💗

@@lesleewatson4266 You are very welcome! It might be helpful to log entries into some sort of journal about anything you are concerned with. My understanding from Dr. Berry is that the carnivore diet will actually HEAL a fatty liver and is extremely good for it! Good job - keep going! 😁👏

I have been doing it now for 3 weeks. I am pooing battery acid so I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am 2MAD 70% fat 25% protein and 5% carbs. I had my gall bladder out 30 years ago. Drinking 100 oz of water a day.
@conniesartstudio
@conniesartstudio 2 года назад
Hi Lyric! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I know this is the suggested ratio, but for me, it was too much fat I discovered. I am no doctor or expert, so I suggest you check out Dr. Berry's videos on this particular matter. I have also read from others to use Ox Bile - it helps to normalize how fat is moved through your intestines since your gall bladder isn't there to handle it. Or, of course, you can change your percentages and see where you need to be by the process of elimination (no pun intended 😆). I had to drop my fat intake to get rid of the fiery scours. Right now, I eat about a 1.5 to 1 ratio of fat to protein for each meal. Sometimes I even eat a little less by making the fat and protein equal amounts. I've also noticed the type of fat I am intaking has something to do with how it travels through my system. My suggestion is this: Use a log book and start keeping track of all your food and drinks. A couple of really good trackers you can use for free are carbmanager.com and fitnesspal.com. Pay really close attention to how you feel and how your movements are according to what you are ingesting. Not having a gall bladder changes the whole eating ballgame for us so we have to be smart with how and what we eat. I wish you all the luck in your journey! Let me know if you found anything to work really good for you!

Unfortunately, I have had some deaths to deal with in my family and the stress took its toll on my mental health. I have recently in the past month started back on my plan with eating properly and exercising each day by walking 1.5 miles. Also have added some strength exercises into the mix for shaping up the flab. I am feeling more encouraged and positive - thanks for asking!

@@conniesartstudio I respect that more than you know. 5 years ago I was in the best shape of my life. Then we buried my sister, mother, my one month old nephew and my adopted son. Pain will do things to you. I watched your video early this morning and decided to start carnivore today. I seen myself in you. I also paint and make ugly ceramic things 😂. I turned 51 this year and I just can't stay in this rut forever. I wish you the best and just know, although you didn't make many videos you touched lives. Including mine.

Hey young lady, check out a Kelly Hogan's zero carb life you tube channel. I think she's been carnivore for like twenty years. I know I've heard her and also some of her guests say that when they first went carnivore they started feeling great right away, but they kinda freaked out a little because for the first few months they actually gained a little weight. But after that they not only continued feeling great but also then weight started to fall off pretty quickly. Good luck.
