WTF no MANN+HUMMEL? Most car owners are so damn oblivious to maintenance they have no concept of ever changing an air filter until their engine bogs down and they bring it in to their mechanic. No one even checks tire pressure anymore. In just two-three month your tire pressure can drop 7 PSI. Check your fluid levels and tire pressure once a month, make it a habit like say on a last Sunday of every month.
Is this bloke a refugee from a 1960's advert for washing up liquid? Just needed a dickie bow tie , point to camera with invisible gun and an exaggerated head turn wink . Lordy Lord. As for air filters and other consumables, may I politely suggest just stick to the ones recommended by the car maker. It's not hard to research.
Call me crazy but I think I'm buying Fram, just for air filters, from now on. It was in the top three for all three tests. And it's made in the US. Can't say that for any other.
If only Fram's oil filters are as good as their air filters. They know how to produce a solid air filter but I wouldn't put their extra guard oil filters in my worst winter beater.
Agree! When we tested their Extra guard oil filter in another video it did not do so well. Although some of their higher end ones did. Thanks for watching and supporting us!
Great video but complete missed opportunity to include a K&N air filter to see how well their reusable oiled material goes against the average paper filters. Would love to see how much more particles pass through the K&N and how much more airflow it gets in return. Hopefully there’s another airflow comparison video!
With all these cars in my driveway, they get whatever is cheapest at Rock Auto during my annual stock-up buy of filters & windshield wipers. I change the air filters every 10k mile oil change. They're usually just $3-$4 each at Rock Auto
People... K&N are designed for maximum air flow in track and performance applications. The filters they are testing are what is readily available to the average consumer. The average consumer doesn't even know they have and or change their air filter, let alone buy a "premium" or performance filter.
