Incredible piece of engineering! These guys had balls flying these machines! Knowing that everyone and their mother were shooting at you plus the fighter aircraft assigned to shoot you down just Incredible! Very limited technology and mostly guys just trained to do their jobs kept these beast flying! Now imagine the youngsters today trying to do what the youngsters back then did is unimaginable! Today's youngsters are the softest generation ever! The testosterone levels are completely different! The military personnel from WW2 are the best generation this country has ever turned out! Unfortunately we will never see anyone like them ever again! Most of these guys knew that there was a dam good chance that they weren't coming back alive and they went anyway! My father was a WW2 Navy man and a sniper who watched over the Seebees while they built airfields and barracks and anything else that was required! He fought in 3 major battles! The movie the fighting Seebees with John Wayne would come on TV and my father would enlighten us on what actually happened during the battles! My father came home with only a few scares on his body but he suffered with many scars in his mind! He said the hardest thing to live with was killing a man with his bare hands and watching the life leaving the man's body! I don't think he ever got over that! GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS!
Nick, I bought a taycan turbo s in aug 2023. I had before this, '16 BMW 435,' 01 e39 m5, 16 f10 m5, 22 tesla model Y performance... Then went into the porsche. I suddenly don't have the itch to change cars!! Best car I've ever owned and driven! Hands down. I love it so much. The breadth of capability from comfortable daily driver to bombing down a back road... So so amazing!
Last 3 911s have been manual. This time i got a pdk T. Love the manual but tired of shifting for a while. Im loving the Pdk lets me relax in traffic, launch mode is fun and mountain roads are blast with paddles. I just love both trannys
US is the absolute best when it comes to residential areas. Not those congested 15 minutes cities with their apartment buildings and shared walls and noise coming from every direction😂
If there's one thing the US does best is residential homes. By God they are spacious like actually made for humans and comfortable living. While the rest of the world builds high density cities and forces people to live like rats in cages(buildings) with shared walls and shared parking and no space and neighbour noise. FuckAllThe people that want congested 15 minute cities
I ordered a 992.1 Carrera S that will be delivered in September. I probably have one of the last 992.1 manual transmission to be built. I totally disagree with buying the last year of a model year. Especially since the manual transmission will be much harder (in not impossible) to get in the future.
They as in Gorsche yes Gore sha obviously went back in ancient times with the cloth top stupidly obnoxious super Finnick method of getting said dumber generic dollar store like top roof down. Would love to see these goons stuck in a sudden rain downpour and see how slow and stupidly funny mistakes they make because there in sudden shit shock over the precipitation coming down on them harder than like & most likely cause unrepairable current & future electrical problems too the point have having the thing written off as water damaged unrepairable status destined the the waiting crusher vehicle recycler. Period
I"m looking to get a 991.2 C2 base and seeked one out without the sport exhaust. I find the sport exhaust way to annoying. The pops and burbles just make it sound like an internally broken exhaust. I don't want it in any way, shape or form on my car. The quad tips look so much better too. This video just cemented the decision. Thank you Nick!
Porsche is like that stubborn teenager who thinks he knows everything….you’d think they learned their lesson from omitting the manual option on the 991.1 GT3 but apparently they didn’t.🙄🤪 The regular 718 Spyder with a manual will become way more desirable than this RS automatic.

Very few cars manage to keep their lines attractive and current, 40 years after their launch. The BMW E30 is undoubtedly one of those cars. It's proof that simplicity and elegance never go out of style.
Hence the reason I am very happy with my standard 718 Boxster that I use to travel all over Europe with the same exhilarating experience when driving a Porsche for half the price.
I would love to see if anyone here can comment on the low end torque characteristics of the turbo against the S model. For the 19-21 model years. I have tested both the GTS and the S, and found that the in town, casual driving, low end power delivery to be more usable on the S.
