Holy 💩! man epic build. Million dollar question brother . . . . I know there 2 Completely Different platforms . . . .BUT at the 1/5 scale would you say is more difficult to work on vs. a Kraton 6s? Because the XRT is obviously BIGGER. It just seems like it "may" be easier to work on because the real estate is just bigger. I'm just curious. You got me wanting an XRT Now! damnit!!!!!! 🤣
haha thx bro! She's coming together. Some challenges fitting the new motor in but I think I can make it work 😅 Yea, the 1/5 scale is much easier to work on simply because the size part, screws etc...I haven't driven the XRT yet but by far the coolest truck I have. Any 1/5 is just epic
I gott say I'm Not a huge fan of traxxass, not the best experience with the Rustelr vxl, but anyway........ this XRT Looks Sick and it's a 1/5 scale, HUGE!!!!! NICE BUILD MAN!!!🔥🔥🔥
That’s a lot of aluminum parts. I have a Xmaxx with only with proline shock shafts, HD non widemaxx arms, proline badlands, and a max6. I want a XRT. If I get one my hobby shop has the black one and I will sell it the esc and motor.
Hey brother quick question. Will the EXB differential output drives fit in an V5/BLX stock diff? I"m going through this same process currently, I haven't converted to Full EXB Differentials yet.
Im not to sure about the which version has which. But typically the BLX has 5mm out drives and the EXB has 6mm. Maybe pull up the Arrma exploded view and see which out drives they suggest as replacements. That should tell you. If you can I would highly recommend doing the diff upgrade in the rear.
@@KUDRARACING yea definitely. I'll try that. Yea. I will eventually upgrade to the exb rear Diff for sure. Will definitely make the rig run longer with no problems in that department. Appreciate the feedback
Probably the best build series on RU-vid! 👌🏻 I was hooked from the first episode where you detailed all the parts that were going on it! Can’t wait to see this rig running with 12s power!
I been posting your profile on facebook in certain rc groups I’m in they be looking for help and stuff so I gave em your profile and they been loving it 🤞🏾 keep up the good work
I hate doing shocks, it seems like forever. Those M2C pistons really do make a difference. I have them for my Xmaxx that almost weights 30lbs with batteries.
The only thing is the 800kv is also heavier. I think that's the way to go if your going over 8s. I have the 1100kv on mine and I'm more than happy with the crazy power it provides. Any motor will need to be geared for your style of driving to keep temps in check
@@adrianking6309 not that heavy, the more kv the more temp so 800kv from hobbywing 56113 with the right gears will be lower in amp(motor amps) and lower temp and high torque I’ve tried both the 1100kv will overheat, the and best for bashing is 800kv
@@KUDRARACING then buy the clear ultimate body and pair it red 🔥I love my green ultimate body with the green arms , the normal body had to much green , I think the more back that’s on the ultimate body would look sick red!
Nice man! Very nice! I think the emulsion cap for the shocks work better with m2c pistons and I think 60 weight is better for this set up …send it !!!! 😅
From experience using m2c pistons and vitavon springs and all of vitavon aluminum parts my xrt weight is almost 31 pounds and I used 60 weight and was to stiff and broke my right rear shaft. Now I run 45 weight all around with medium xrt springs and just handles most jumps very good. Hope you have good luck with you're xrt and really enjoy all the videos.
GREAT Video Brother! I have a V5. It has alot of M2C goodies on it. Basherqueen Bulk head. I use Silicone Ear plug for the Center Diff. My buddy Randy from East Tactics is another engineer with the Kraton Platform. This is one of the BEST videos I've found that fully explains how to Rebuild the Diffs'. You gave me ALOT to think about. I like the Dog Bone upgrade! 👍🏽 I'm definitely saving this video to reference to build a bullet proof Diff. I appreciate All the work you did to put this together For ALL OF US ARMA guys! Would love to Bash with you man. If your ever in Southern California, I live near Disneyland. 🤣 Anyways, God Bless you Brother!!!👍🏽🔥💪🏼🙏🏽 oh one last thing you probably already know this but, I got this tip from Randy. If you get the M2C hinge pin kit (M2C 3125 ARRMA 6S FRONT HINGE PIN SUPPORT SYSTEM V2,V3, V4, V5). Def. Not Cheap But, it acts like a force field to protect the bulk heads even if your using the stock composite bulk heads. I've landed flat on my Kraton's Face from launching it from a 5 1/2 half pipe at the skatepark, about 12 feet in the air, landed straight on its face, [I cringed 😱] and Nothing broke. But yes I agree having a aluminum metal bulk head is MUCH better than the composite stock ones. The aluminum bulk heads from Basher Queen are pretty Bad Ass! 🔥
damn dude!!! that's a lot of coin to be spending on aluminum bits. are you going to do a video on what order you'd do the upgrades in if having to do it in steps? plans on doing a UDR or SBR?
Oh yeah, had to save up for this one haha... I'll do a video suggesting which upgrades to do once I get to bash it - That will really be the test. These upgrades it picked based on research and past experience bashing... UDR on the way ;)
Agreed! Vitavon hubs are on all the other builds but I wanted to see the quality since it's what they put in the Ultimate. If I were to do it again I would go Vitavon everything plus a couple M2C parts
Bless you 😉 truck is looking good 😁🤯 maybe some day i will do this same thing. Still having fun with the fireteam for now though. All metal besides swing arms, max 6 combo, lights and guards 😁 keep em coming man!!
I have a xmaxx and xrt , in my opinion the best way to run them is as light as possible possible, all that extra weight is going to kill those plastic chassis, the best way to run that truck is with a max six esc a set of tires and the gears for sure , and maybe a chassis brace from m2c , that’s as far as I would go , I’m super curious on how it’s going to take all that extra weight! Good luck man , going to be an awesome build for sure tho!!
Traxxas?¿? Why? I thought this was an arrma channel? Traxxas is like phones - only Traxxas parts, Traxxas batteries, Traxxas everything. Arrma like android - everything compatible
Don't worry brother, I only have 3 Traxxas trucks and 7 Arrma's. Im all in on Arrma just trying out a different truck for a build series. Lots more Arrma videos coming
