🥳Subbed! Since you didn't have a damage report at the end, can I ask what broke exactly? Looks like just the rear left arm, then the spur gear at the end? Unless it was actually the center diff 😮
Center diff is known issue! Already replaced mine with hardened rear and center. Just got month ago and every time I get out something goes down. Must not know how to drive 🤣
@@KUDRARACING I bought the xrt ultimate and then a 2 weeks later, the Sledge. I definitely prefer the xrt ultimate over the sledge. I feel like the pinion and spur break too easy. I have t done any upgrades other than machined spur. I am thinking about getting the M2C motor mount and chassis. But not sure. I am now debating between a max x or the new slash.
Bro! A fellow Canuckistanian!!!! Yay! West Coast Represent! My mother is from out there…. Has nothing to do RC cars…. Eastern Ontario (Ottawa Valley) says Hey! What’s up eh? Great videos and bashing…. Looking forward to your opinion on the Sledge. I was going to get back when new. Then all of the reviews seemed to have killed it. I is a great looking machine! Keep us posted! Thanks again.
haha yeah man! We out here on the West coast. Good to have you join the fun. The Sledge is really fun to drive, with a couple durability upgrades I think it will be a regular out at the jump track. Tons more videos coming 🚀
@@KUDRARACING SEND IT! Great fun watching your vids. I like the style. I got the Keaton EXB last year. RIGHT BEFORE the release of the new one… 😒. Still a great one. It’s how I found your channel!! Keep it coming!!!!
Thx man - My brother has the V1 Kraton EXB and it breaks less than the new Kraton EXB... although it may have something to do with my driving haha @@TheCLA8N
In this video everything is stock... What a beast. I just posted a video of the upgrades I did. The servo and ESC lack a bit but it's really fun out of the box. And is quite doable. I literally have 10 GT5 remotes... first upgrade for sure.
NICEvideo , rc cars that need tons of upgrades isxa no no from me lol, been there done it, the Slegde was going to be the Kraton 6s killer ? Didn't happen lol , you find your going to have too M2C it lol and alomost double it's price ?
Def going to do a comparison video. But they both broke with in 5mins of driving them ahaha 🤣 Sledge is super fun to drive but I will always be an Arrma guy. Just the way they approach the build is quite different. Also you definitely get more bang for your buck out of the box with the Kraton EXB
Broooo. 😂lol. I didn’t have a Traxxas either and decided to get the XRT. Although I am an iPhone guy, I’ve come to realize that Traxxas are the iPhone of RC cars and arrma are the androids. lol.
haha same same... I don't know what rabbit hole Im jumping down now that I've got a traxxas 🤣 The guys at the shop are trying to convince me of a XRT lol
Man, I have to say… it’s still stock and holds up great against my fully upgraded Kraton… although having bashed it for 2 months now it’s looking like it’s time for some hella upgrade 👌
@@KUDRARACING i ran a sledge for a while...highly recommend the gpm motor mount, cnc diff gears for scooter tougher feel because the diff gears it comes with are pot metal not cnc machined. also upgrade the battery tray to gpm carbon strap and you can fit any battery not just traxxas. one last thing g upgrades to 45kg servo and the gpm steering spindle and hub for extra durability. with these upgrades it was BULLETPROOF!
@@KUDRARACING depends on how crazy you want to get with it. At the very least you’ll want to get a fan kit. Can get pretty hot the more you run it. But I’d for sure recommend a better motor mount set up. I’ve blown several spur, pinion, and even a motor during bashing because the mesh doesn’t want to hold. A better motor mount fixes that.
@@KUDRARACING M2C is what I run for my motor mount. Haven’t had any problems since. I cut down on some weight and went with carbon fiber towers from basherqueen to make up for the motor mount weight and then I’m pretty sure it’s RPM makes a front bumper that’s a life saver in addition to Traxxas chassis skid plate and you’re golden.
Actually wasn't to bad lol The shock tower cap, the bolt that holds the rear knuckle together, and stripped the stock pinion gear at the end. All cheap and quick fixes. Im seeing how far I can push this thing stock!
Uh oh. Aluminum chassis. Arrma better be careful or they might end up getting sued (again) by Traxxas for patent issue. lol. It looks identical to the Kraton.
