OMG!!! 13 years and i still Remember this video and all the words of the song even if english Is not my language!! Stargate was my everything! Every evening in my Little room i can't wait to see a new episode! when i was a Little woman scared of what to do when i grow up, One thin was sure: i wanna be like Sam Carter!
I think this is one of the earliest Maxanor videos made and to me it is the very best. I've come to realize that it is the standard by which I think about other videos. I can't believe it has received to many likes. Thank you for this exceptional piece of storytelling.
I come to this video every month because you've gave a beatiful theme song, storyline and endgame to tamsin/bo+tamsin and your video made me not watch the last season because SO MUCH was wasted by the writers.
So soo good. I thought about these two lately and I can’t shake them out. They really were the most interesting pair in that show. I’m still so angry when I think of how much of that was wasted. They had HUGE potential 😢
Imagine had they been allowed to make Xena in 2020. But I'm glad it went this way. These two helped pave the way for all the beautiful love stories we have today <3
I've watched this around 50 times. Better every time. There are a ton of femslash videos with this song and I think you made the best one with the least likely fandom. You nailed it.
Thank you very much! This warms my heart, because it was such a beautiful and difficult song to edit. Xena was and will always be one of the most undervalued shows in terms of "emotion delivery". I tried to highlight that: a simple, campy show from the 90s was in fact very very deep and had a beautiful underlying motif that carried it through the years and that makes us, 20+ years later, go back and watch it with newfound emotion. It was an important show, saying that "Yes, two women can love each other more than they ever loved anyone else. They loved each other through time and death" and even though they had obvious limitations, I think they showed it perfectly.
@@AnnaGiuliaFiction Couldn't agree more. Best show ever written, hands down. When I think about the level of artistry poured into this show … I'm AMAZED by the commitment of everyone involved on all levels of production. I thought you nailed it, even with all the amazing scenes they shot. I'm VirginiaHensley on ff dot net and DarlingDoRight on Ao3. I haven't written my Xena masterpiece yet but as you showed, this show never ages. It's timeless perfection. Thanks for the reply. xoxo.
omg I've just found this video and I love it so much! Verna is one of my favourite characters in the books, and she makes a good and cute couple with Warren. I feel so sad about Warren's death and about the fact that he did not appear in the tv show. The video is amazing. Thank you so much!
I know I'm late but the way this opens is my favorite part, and not just because I love pterosaurs (well, okay, partly that). So like, you already have the intro narration, Cecil bein' all ominous but the visuals aren't out of the ordinary, right? Well next, they show a park scene (which yes, I know is from Dr. Who, but just stay with me) and again, newcomers will think it's normal...but then BOOM! Pteranodons! And for a moment, I'm sure newcomers are surprised and maybe think it's plot-relevant or something...and then a split second later there's that "Pterodactyls are vermin, do not feed" sign. Again, I know it's a Dr. Who clip, but it still perfectly illustrates the inherent weirdness of Night Vale. You got giant, prehistoric, should be extinct but somehow aren't reptiles flying around the local parks and to the average observer it would be weird. In Night Vale? It's about as "weird" as seeing pigeons flying around a park--that is, not weird at all. A quick moment, but it already tells newcomers everything they need to know about the setting they've found themselves in.
