With that kind of training for that breed, that's usually what their trained for. I see no issue if their k9's. Police dogs are an amazing asset for an officer. Just because you may not like tye cops doesn't mean you need to bring the negativity everywhere you go.😅
@@sassyTaryn I like good cops. Not the ones who turn mans best friend into an asshole that wants to kill anyone it is told to. I would argue you are the one making things negative where you go. Your presence alone is enough. You should not make weapons to be used against the community. You silly little person.

A lot of people nowadays due to the popularity of the Malinois are mistaking purebred working line German shepherds for Belgian malinois. This is because German shepherds are incredibly popular, but people know the show lines the best. The working lines are the dogs that are used for police, military, personal protection, and some show lines can also do personal protection though. So the saddle back black and red or black and tan is what you are used to seeing. The dominant color in the working German Shepherd though is sable or solid black, sometimes bicolor. They are distinctive from the Malinois because they are larger, and have much wider and bigger heads than Belgian malinois. I will add that most working Malinois are mixed with Dutch Shepherd as well as some working line German Shepherd as well as some off breeds including Mastiff and American Pitbull terrier to increase some size so it's hard to find a purebred working Malinois because most working Malinois come from knpv Dutch lines and they do out crossings although they guard their breeding secrets but it's well-known among the breeders. Just thought it would be some interesting information for you. These dogs are what the original German Shepherd dog is

This was an outstanding video, because it showed some very compelling techniques to building drive, while keeping the dog happy at being motivated, for me so inspiring, thank you ! I am hoping to get my dream puppy in February, I will use what l see here in my training, keep them coming !
If you look closely in the background near the beginning of the video, you can spot the nest of a Repulsivus Unamericanus. The creature is a vile, usually highly unintelligent species that is manipulated easily and effectively through emotional external stimuli, particularly through the introduction of propaganda that makes it fearful of literally everything it's told to be afraid of. Its underdeveloped human brain, a hallmark of the species, cannot differentiate between reality and fake news, so in its reactive fear, it blindly obeys and believes those who introduce the scary words and ideas to them. The animal is so instinctually wired to be in abject fear that has no basis or existence in reality that it constantly makes decisions that harm itself, and everything else in the ecosystem around it. The loathsome thing can be found in every state in America, even though it isn't fit to live anywhere in the nation, regardless of climate. The Repulsivus Americanus is, of course, a traitor with a trump flag. It's cowardly, manipulable, unintelligent, disgusting, stupid, slovenly, dishonest, and an enemy of America.
I had to watch. I had a great alpha-beta GSD female named Cheyenne before my current beta girl Amber. Both excellent dogs, different personalities, different profiles. My Amber was found in the Mojave by a very kind lady who spent $2k to get her into adoptable shape & put her in WGSR. When found she was weak, starving, she'd been shotgunned with dove shot in the rear legs. She was scavenging dead rats, mice whatever she could find. She will still dig up dead gophers if I don't tell her "Leave it!" & hunt & kill rodents to this day, even though she eats very very well - bison, venison, game hen, duck, chicken, fish, beef or pork with her kibble every day. Yeah! Spoiled, but she's worth every penny! Awesome dogs, shepherds!
We have a male working line GSD. We got him at 9 months and he is now 14 months. Seeing that trot in a slo-mo was so cool. They actually place their hip to either right or left in the direction they are trotting. Easy to spot when you first notice that the behind legs go on either right or left side of the front legs. It's actually a non symmetrical style of gait in the direction of travel.
Love these videos. Unfortunately most are of finished or near finished dogs. I'd love to see more videos of the training techniques that get these results
Love to see this video Courtney! I had a dog once who I could leave by a kids soccer field completely out of sight for 45 minutes in a down stay. It gives you such a feeling of confidence in your dog! Love it.
