I went the same route yesterday with my wife - striding edge was a bit risky - and it was a perfect weather (dry conditions) - partially cloudy, it only rained down in Glenridding. Kudos to Al & Blue! 🐕
As a YT creator myself, although, I don't feel I can call myself that just yet. Started last December, so 7/8 months in. I can appreciate the struggles of keeping screen time down with social media etc. The early days are trying to get your content seen, stressing whether it's good enough. I've learned that I need to remember I'm making these videos for me, to show how far I've come. I've got a stammer, so to put myself out to the world shows how far I've come in accepting myself. Keep churning out the video's Al. Hopefully one day on our adventures we cross paths (I feel like we'd get on! We have a lot of similarities in our hobbies). ATB, Mike (and Paddy).
you walk a summit and you see the grand vistas and all around you. you walk when it is overcast in , you see what's around you, you pay attention the close at hand. yes vistas look great but to see around you also has syuff to look at.
This makes me want to get out there and challenge myself a little, I am 66 so not like you young fellas - still there is life in the old dawg yet! Good on you mate, truly inspiring, and your dog is a true treasure!
You forgot to connect the RJ45 CAN Bus cable from the Power Hub to the CAN Bus Port of the Smart Distribution Panel. The Manual says the system will malfunction if you don't connect it. You don't need the blank RJ45 dongle in your case.

Awesome video, really well put together on a steep old climb! And as part of my research into tackling Jacks Rake I have decided NOT to attempt Jacks Rake as I fear would be that guy stuck fast half way up or dead at the bottom! You and your dog are an inspiration!
okay the sleeping bag looks bigger then the bivy (know it isn't) but when he opened it, it just look so small to the sleeping bag. ohhhhahhh....ohhhahhhh back at yah.
there only a few vids i watch on y.t. and it is the dogs i love (yes i like the people who do the adventures) but it's the dogs i remember the names to. Blue...Rocko...Ellie as i watch the playouts the dogs are so cool to watch also and the care that the owners give their doggo's is heartwarming and so neat to watch...old vid or new. good lads y'all.
watching you pack up blue in a pooch was ideal because you were going to dig out the pegs/stakes and tent so time would have been long. so blue would not get cold or frozen that was a nice bit of comfort for him. love this kind of tent liveing, like you said being in a cacoon so comforting. food/book/movies/shelter/sound of wind/dog, ah the life. even being out side is heaven to me in that kind of weather. i'm a cold liveing person.

Your mental bro but i love it. Seen a vid of good bloke outdpors doing tgis route and thought theres no way you're getting a dog up that, but you did. You made it look as safe as possible and blue is so sick. Awesome to see the bond you pair have and how that facilitates you pair working together like a well oiled machine.
