LEDs are not good for this application I highly recommend getting the regular bulbs and just getting the rubber colored covers that go on the bulbs and it'll do all the same thing change the colors with the factory bulbs last 10 times longer than LEDs
I like to color of the LEDs and I believe you have the statistics on factory vs LED bulbs mixed... LED bulbs can live up to 30 times longer than their incandescent counterparts...this makes them perfect for in dash applications to me🤷
No, a bad blower will draw more amperage on the circuit and possibly pop a fuse before the resistor. All the resistor does is limit the power being sent to the motor.
I really couldn't tell ya, I just filled it up on to the max on the dipstick...any variance that the oil lines has is not going to move it out of that range
Hello friend 👋... I have a 05 element morning start is ruff for like 4 seconds.. i replaced new spark plugs and coils and fuel injectors and throddle body plus new battery.. only thing im waiting on a hopeing could be my issue is the fuel pump.. what symtoms did you get before replacement?? My element have 200k Miles..
My fuel pump was actually completely fine when I replaced it, I was putting a turbo on it, so I needed a higher flowing pump. However the general rule of thumb with the fuel pump is that I you can hear it prime when you turn the key, then it is working. If you cannot hear it prime then it is dead...if it is an intermittent problem it is likely not the fuel pump...also if it starts and runs, it is not the fuel pump.
@@TheMileHighMechanic Ok, I just meant like the different pieces you used in it, I've never done any wiring before but I should be able to figure it out. Thanks!
We're talking about a half an inch, but yes you would want them equal...my thought process was when I am in the car it will equal out since it should theoretically sag more on the drivers side.
You can also swap the speedo and tach to put the tach front and center, which is pretty nice for track use. If you're someone that enjoys that. BTW, careful with LED lights, especially taillights as the Cruise Control monitors the resistance on the brake lights and won't work with the lower resistance of the LED bulbs.
Loved your video bro just changes mine out on my 2005 Ranger only bulbs i needa change are the ones in the 4x4 switch and the headlight switch have you changed yours out and do you have a video on it??
Hey I’m getting a ford, same model, and it’s actually missing those buttons. Is it the same process and if so where do I get the parts for it? (It has the circuit part on the steering wheel the cover for the buttons are just gone)
This is exactly what happened to me when I got into my truck this morning. I have a 1998 f150 3 door XLT 4.6L model. I had no windows , wipers or inside dome light. Bought a relay switch that did not solve the problem. I would purchase a GEM module until I seen a few video`s on the horror of removing it. So this video is right up my alley and will give it a go tomorrow. Thanks for the vid and I will reply after my attempt.
The soul exhaust sounds more deeper rather than louder which makes it sound exceedingly better than the standard exhaust. However I don’t like the farting sound when it’s continually ongoing, perhaps on the overrun yes, nice content.
I’m trying to build this with a 5 in lift. Beautiful man. I’m aiming for a setup that builds 7 psi at 4k rpm’s. I’ve yet to run the math for it though. How much boost are you pushing at 4k? What’s the sizes in the setup?
It is a gt3582 turbo (62mm) if I believe. It doesn't really start to hit boost till around 3.5-4k so I would say around 1-2psi at 4k. It's a pretty big turbo, so it spikes very late, but when it hits, it hits.
Not exactly hyper flash, but the whole circuit needs resistance. After replacing the fronts and the rear signals, none of them would work. I added resistors on just the front, and it seems to work...blinks fast, but it works.
New 1986 Porsche 944 owner here. It's one of the job I'm going to do on my car. You're video is Really good. You're showing everything in detail...... Thanks a lot, you're going to make the job Way easier.......
Will your own steering wheel off the 9:44 fit a 9/11 with no adapters or anything do you still have when you like to sell what's your price on the Carlisle right now and where are you located
The front was only lifted about an inch and a half...the truck came with about a 2" rake in the front, so I am lifting the front to make it around level...the rear is still higher than the front.
Thanks for getting back to me. They do not function properly. I tested the cruise control at various speeds above 35. I used your link to purchase the right ones to fit my 1998 ford ranger. I have owned this vehicle since 2002 and I know the cruise control hasn’t worked in a very long time. My controls were melted off from the hot Hawaiian sun so I figured I would try replacing them after watching your video. At least aesthetically the steering wheel looks nice now. Do you think they are bad and I should return to Amazon and swap out for a different set of controls?
@@danielcotter9202If they don't actuate the cruise control then it is likely not a problem with the buttons. I would check the cruise control fuses. Sounds like there is no power being sent to the buttons.
I am located in a part of Colorado that does not have emissions, so I can run open downpipe without any issues. The ECU is a KTuner. Check out the videos of the build of you want to see more.
Everything worked beforehand, I just wanted to tighten everything up. With 40 year old bushings, there is going to be a bit of play that takes away from the driving experience.
@@TheMileHighMechanicawesome thanks, so currently i have a problem with my 944. It shifts when off and sometimes shifts while on! However its very inconsistent and is not drivable right now. I have tested the clutch snd it looks fine, but other than the shifter linkage im not sure what it could be. Any tips would be awesome, Thanks
@@TheMileHighMechanicnot really while i was driving it, it just kept getting harder to shift, snd then sometimes i shifted i could feel it just didn’t catch the gear
@@diegodoby950 sounds like it could be a synchro issue. To rule out the shifter assembly, I would try to hit every gear while the car is off, if you can do that then the shifting assembly is likely to be fine. I would check/change your transmission fluid as low or old fluid can affect the way the transmission shifts. If the fluid does not fix it, it might be an issue within the transmission itself.
