Typical late 60s rock and roll and that's why I love this song. I was 17 when I first heard it. It's different rock and and roll and, it stands alone. I think that's why it really appeals to me. Man what a wasted talent along with drugs, such a shame

i just saw a clip of leon......telling a crowd, that if they didnt feel moved by the concert they paid for.......they could get their money back and he didnt care.........then i see i guy like YOU.......writing about how all he cared about was money........why would you write that? do you have an actual reason ,and if so.........why would you not include it in your "comment"?

usually a classical fan i am flabbergasted by his playing - he's an absolute virtuoso, and more than that he looks so at ease while playing and singing. not a bad voice either.

I broke down listening to this. I was that boy, like so many other good men. The hardest thing was to walk away. It took about 7-8 times until I mustard up the strength and Im going through it at this very moment.

I was very young like 5 or 6 when my mom and dad listened to this music on vinyl I still have an original pressing of Mad Dogs and English Men gifted to me by my mom. Also Leon Russell is a very underrated musician from that era great band and music.

Yes, this is the "real Fleetwood Mac". They played in 1973 when I attended Gettysburg College. Green, Kirwan and Spencer gone, Ex Savoy frontman Dave Walker on vocals, Bob Welch on guitar. Christine Mcvie on keys, John McVie bass with Mick Fleetwood on drums. A shadow of this powerhouse. One funny thing was my friend Doug Mcvie (no relation to John) quipped to Christine "Hey you used to be Christine Perfect with Chicken Shack". She responded "Yes, I used to be Perfect, and then I met John". Love that English humor.

Love this Album, My Father was into rock like Jimi Hendrix, Creedence, and Grand Funk. But for soul he liked Isaac Hayes and Marvin Gaye. He had this album Hot Buttered Soul which won a Grammy.

The very definition of nervous energy in music..... The kind that gives every muscle the shakes until you are forced to rise up to defend your manhood or womanhood by going so hard dancing that by the time you finish you're a puddle of goo like the remainder of nastiness that is the remnant of the wicked witch of the west after she was doused with water by Dor Othy in the Wizard of Oz...... Oh Peter Green you were a Wizard and you weren't hiding behind the curtain like the Wizard himself.... Oh but for the vagaries of mental illness we would have seen heard and known more of and from you..... Your time was cut far too short.... The Biggest Candles Burn the Brightest before their Time is Due...... R.I.P. my sweet Prince...... Proliferate your sweet music in the Ethers once more........... ❤❤❤
