I bought the same in amber and absolutely love them. The build quality and frame material feel very sturdy and look sharp. Especially the reddish one. I used to only wear Zenni but their quality is the pits. Pixel had faster shipping and much higher quality all around. Even the case looked premium compared to the cheap blue plastic cases at Zenni. I'm so relieved I found pixel because my favorite Zenni was discontinued and everything else was subpar.
Excellent clear, concise, video - Thank you so much for speaking at a comprehensible, conversational pace. Many videos are "speed-talked" so that you hardly have time to register the words, let alone file the thought in your brain - so stressful to try to listen to. Do either of these companies make clip-ons for blue light (with a little yellow) when you already have prescription computer glasses? With Felix Gray make computer glasses with my prescription magnification (2.5)? +.25? My next computer glasses will probably be made by one of these companies, but in the meantime, I could use a clip-on. Do I only need blue-light, since I have prescription computer lenses already?
Thank you so much for this excellent video; I wish all videos were as well done as yours. I have prescription computer glasses, but the pupillary measurement was not done by the opthamalogist, but by an optician/optical clerk at Walmart, and I'm pretty sure they did not allow for any pupillary decentralization, they only prescribed the magnification. Does magnification itself provide the pupillary decentralization? The lenses are the newest, and very expensive, type of polycarbonate that is supposed to have "everything" built in. I think "everything" does include built-in anti-glare, among other things, but does "everything" include blue light filtration? I do have quite a bit of eyestrain & poorer vision after I use the computer, or watch TV, or even read for a period of time. So much so that I am thinking of trying the pinhole glasses for watching television, because I noticed that if I viewed through my eyelashes, the blurring problem improved. Thanks, Anna
@Eye Influece Could you answer me to this question please ? If i dont have any myopia because i did surgery and i can perfect now will these .25 affect my eyes in a bad way ? Thank you
Definitely getting oleophobic for my next pair because I wear a lot of lotion and do have greasy hair sometimes. My sister is gonna get it for my niece's next pair too for that and her fingerprints.
What coatings do you recommend for real GLASS lenses? I want to get Zeiss Glass Lenses. What's the best premium anti-reflective coating as of 2024 for Zeiss? Should I get the hydrophobic and oleophobic coating too or will they wear off over time? Thank you.
Great review. I have been a Hubble user for a few years now, and cannot find a suitable replacement that works well for my eyes. The searching and trying different brands is maddening. Hubble now offers two upper-tier, better oxygen permeability lenses. Have you had the opportunity to review those?
Have you tried REVO sunglasses, I have 3 pairs of Revos and 4 Maui Jims and I can confidently say that Revos are on par with Maui Jims ......I dont see much benefit of one over the other
I JUST spent over a thousand pounds UK on new glasses, high end frame and the best zeiss varifocals available plus some customization. Why so much? I asked myself a question "what is the value of your eyes and sight", no I'm not rich BUT MY eyes are worth ANYTHING.
I've wondered why some people's glasses reflect green while the others reflect purple. Especially in this age of Zoom, when long meetings are spent staring at others on a computer.
I'd be careful with this review. I have no idea how anyone can claim Gunnar does not make it completely clear you are receiving lenses with magnification since you are specifically required to select the level of magnificent level you will recieve.
You said that green hue is residual reflection ryt??? 7:16 ,i see the reflection of tube light or box light at front of glasses especially when they are back at me as a line of green and box of green sp irritating 😢😢😢😢
Man!!! This was good! Clear, descriptive and your diction is crisp! I came here because my wife ordered standard coating and I ordered premium coating before I knew the difference. I almost got mad from the difference in cost, but what you explained is exactly what I need and wanted on my lense. Crisis averted! LOL
No one beats Costco prices. No hidden fees and free shipping. Even with the membership cost Costco beats them all even with their rebates. Some will try to price match but then add shipping charges. Don't buy from places who wanted to charge you more but then want to price match when you found someone cheaper. That will just put the good guys like Costco out of business leaving only those who wanted to charge you more.
A couple hundred dollars on glasses?! Lol. I have a strong prescription and astigmatism. Frames and lenses after taxes equals $680 CAD! If it was around $350 I would feel like I wasn't being assaulted. Even though I'm broke and still paying off Revenue Canada, I still shelled out for lenses and frames from my real optician because I don't want to deal with the bullcrap of ill-fitting frames and poorly calibrated lenses. To add insult to injury, I have to wait two weeks to get my glasses, so now I'm walking around with electrical tape on the arm of my glasses (Hugo Boss, by the way), because the coating on the arm started crumbling off about a year ago and reached condition critical yesterday.
I bought a tempered glass blue light screen protector for my touchscreen laptop, and it is a life saver. My eyes feel amazing. My old laptop even atbthe lowest light setting, and with the "blue light filter setting on" it still felt like it was cooking my eyes.
I just got my new glasses that has Crizal Sapphire HR Clear coating but when I take a photo of my self I still get the glare from the flash or studio light. Is this normal situation?
I've been wearing mine for roughly 3 years and when I don't have them on I notice instant eye strain. I have 20/200 vision so these for me are perfect as I'm also a graphic designer and I enjoy playing video games as well.
I've had my Crizal Sapphire lenses for about three years now and they're still going strong, although I need to change them not because they're not functioning properly anymore; but because my powers have changed so I need to get a new pair. Crizal Sapphire coatings are pretty expensive, but when you compare them to other standard AR coatings, you'll see that the price to quality ratio is good because they're going to last you a really long time with nearly no decrease in quality.
