Here at the Uncommon Commander channel, we aim to build decks in fun and interesting ways. Some of those may end up being quite strong, most will be jank, and all will be entertaining! We build around archetypes in strange color pairings, rarely played commanders, game mechanics that create weird combos and synergies, and we also dabble in Pauper Dragon Highlander (PDH). Cursed Mirror is a good (red only) mana rock. You get the choice of having it enter as a copy of any creature until end of turn. Though it'll change back, this makes it easier to copy or screw with your enemies.
Since this video is a year old maybe you could suggest some more cards for this deck that you would add to it today? I would be thinking of Phyrexian Fleshgorger since it has quite the synergy with the resurrection spells...
Yo I am new to mtg and have looked at some decks. This one seems the most fun to me. But no matter what deck i choose to buy it always says that TCGplayer doesnt have half of the cards I want. Even if i select the damaged options and everything. Could you please recommend me a shop to buy magic cards online if not TCG? Really annoying that they never have all the cards of any deck i checked for...
Sure. I'm quite partial to Card Kingdom. They also may not have all the cards you want, but between the two of them they probably will. Card Kingdom also delivers them as a single shipment, which is nice.
@@UncommonCommander just fyi i just copied my list into the cardmarket website and it automatically reduced the number of sellers to a minumum so i just bought this entire deck plus shipping costs for around 60 bucks! Thanks for the content i am gonna have great fun with this deck!

one thing you did get wrong is that it does indeed trigger a extra counter on etb trigger except for itself, zaza is going to only have 1 1/1 counter while everyone else enters with a extra and gives a extra on death including zaza.
1) Nice deck. Good work. I like your FINAL COUNTDOWN shtick. 2) 100 bucks is perfect because I am broke asf. 3) I feel that if there were some way to make your opponents lands creatures and then wrath the board, that would be hilarious, especially since it is not in red.
Glad you liked it! The "exchange" cards have been some of my favorites since I started EDH, seeing as I broke into it with Zedruu. A couple that also work with Orvar that I didn't mention are Modify Memory (as long as you target one of your own creatures), Shrewd Negotiation, and Switcheroo. I wish there were just a handful more that worked with Orvar, I'd build the entire deck around that mechanic and die happy.
I love it! Back when i first started playing magic modular was my favorite mechanic and i was so sad to see that it wasnt supported more over the years. After a while i forgot all about modular until one day i saw a Zabaz in the LGS "buy a pack get a dollar rare free" binder. I immediately snatched him up and ive had him set aside in a deck box with all the other modular creatures i own. I havent put a deck together yet, but this video has given me tons of inspiration and i think i may even start by building this exact deck!
My lonis deck is designed to just build to a doubling season, academy manufactor and shrieking drake. If I can get my freedom from the real I can steel every non land permanent from ally opponents. That usually game
im new to magic so i apologize incase i say or ask something stupid, i play yugioh but ventured off over to magic and i decided to pick this deck up thankfully i understand the basics and have grabbed a majority of the cards you suggested,my question though is i pulled avacyn the angel of hope, would i be able to run her in my deck as well? and i decided to run these cards called simian spirit to help with mana for the red part of the deck
Avacyn, Angel of Hope is a great card. Congratulations on your pull! I'm not sure what I would take out of the deck to put her in it, but I would put her in it. That said, I might also put more ramp spells into the deck, so I could cast her more easily. Looking back at this deck, I think I'd put a couple more ramp spells into it, and probably just a little more actual card draw that isn't reliant on things happening. If going budget, maybe Secret Rendezvous.
