Don’t call it Superfriends, this is Plainswalkers! Eight-and-a-half-Tails is technically our commander today in this mono-white plainswalk EDH/Commander deck tech, but Aysen Highway is the card that makes the deck really hum, and will be considered our “Secret Commander”. The strategy here is to First find and protect Aysen Highway, then make sure our opponents obtain a Plains, somehow. Next we make a bunch of white creatures, and attack with them, unfettered by such mundane defenses as blockers. Math isn’t for blockers, it’s for our opponents’ faces.

Hi, I know you are not really taking requests right now but sometime in the future I’d love to see your take on some 5 color commanders like Ur-Dragon or Reaper king. Love the content and keep it up.

Though you didn't mention her, I've got a Najeela deck I've been brewing for entirely too long. That'll be one of the next "old" commanders I post. With Strixhaven on the way, it may take me a month or two, but it's coming.

How about a goldshire captain for buffs, like casting an overrun effect when you attack and spawn tokens. lunch the fleet becomes a craterhoof... Light.

Hey, thanks! At the moment I'm not taking more requests. I didn't expect many requests early on, so when they started coming I was quite surprised, and found I couldn't keep up. Still, I know Blind Seer, and I'll consider it. I've been considering building that deck out for a long time now.

Honestly really impressive build. I am quite tempted to steal this with my own adjustments, however small they may be. As having struggled to build 8&1/2 for awhile, this is probably it's strongest showing.

I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's sort of an unconventional way to go with 8 1/2, but then 8 1/2 is already a pretty unconventional card. I hope it works well for you!

@@merrickmiller1224 Not positive, but I'd probably try removing Parhelion II first, just because it's got an equal mana cost. I hate to lose such a bomb of a card, but Avacyn's an even bigger bomb.

@@UncommonCommander Thats what I was thinking, Gotta watch those mana costs. I wanna put Avacyn, and Luminious Broodmoth in at least. After that id like Leyline of Sanctity and maybe white staples Esper Sentinel and Tithe. But the first two I think really contribute best to the overall. (Switch out Consuls for Soltai Champ too)

Going to try this deck next, cept I switched out Enlightened Tutor for Goldnight Captain. I dont want to spend too much on a single card...yet.

@@UncommonCommander Won my first game with this set vrs a Targ-Nar Gruul bruiser deck, Faraday a Izzet dice rolling deck and a Tiamat 5-color dragon deck. Silverwing Command and 8 1/2 tails really pulled me through to beat Tiamat and Faraday and Tiamat beat Targ Nar. Really fun and mono white represent.

@@UncommonCommander Had a bit of a rules issue though. Silverwing Command. Does its power and toughness increase from the tokens while its attacking? or after combat?

@@merrickmiller1224 Guessing you mean Silverwing Squadron? If so, it's power and toughness is always equal to the number of creatures you control. So, when it attacks and creates the knights, those knights count toward Silverwing Squadron's toughness immediately, during the attack phase.
