@JonSantiagoRAW Any chance you can let me know a review of the Neomax coilovers having driven on them for quite some time? What were you spring rates(if you can recall)? Did you daily your car and what was that like? It looks so much better lowered than stock height.
I bought a used 2012 x3 35i in march and had the oil changed when it was at 103k miles. The sticker my mechanic put for the next change is for 108k miles. I'm currently at around 105k miles. This message came on 2 days ago. This might be a dumb question, but should I still add a quart of oil?
Have a 2010 535i! Works! I have a lufi all in one and I do note that I need to do this when my inlet manifold pressure reads vacuum. For the most part as far as I know, it shouldn’t cause atmospheric pressure but yea
If this happens, and you’re running 0w20, then switching to 0w30 will greatly reduce oil consumption. From a nerd who reads the manual…0w30 is recommended for spirited (drive it like you stole it) owners who like to enjoy their ultimate driving machine. 0w20 does not work as intended when the outside temperature is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit. So if you notice more bad oil consumption in summertime then BMW absolutely recommends running 0w30
If there was no such thing as CAFE standards and if 0w30 didn’t cost 1$ more per quart, then BMW’s would be factory filled with 0w30. They probably are in the rest of the world.
Im new to bmw i have an x5 35d just did an oil change 2 weeks ago after 1000 miles already asking for a qt of oil . Is this normal on bmws? Has no leaks
YES! Looks like the problem is fixed. I struggled with lag and the revs would jump up and down when idling. I have been trying everything! changed MAP Sensor, changed VANOS solenoids and even replaced timing chain! THANK YOU. E87 2009 1 Series
M4 G82: took to dealership for routine maintenance including oil change. After over 30 min drive light went on says min engine oil level. Happened to me 2 times. First time light came on same day. Towed the car back to dealership and they filled it up. Second time light came on 2 days later. Added 2 quarts myself and measurement says just below max level. (Meaning there were approx 5 quarts left in there but the light went on) Confusing af.
Great video. I have an E84 2013 2.0 diesel M sport X1 and I love it. It is my 6th BMW and it is the second quickest to 60 (I had an E34 M5), the most economical (38 MPG) and the most versatile as I can put all my stuff in it. It also goes off road to my wood, although the low profile tyres (you say tires) does lower the ground clarance a little. I have subscrived - oh and I love bikes also. There are some on my channel.
How far/long you can drive on yellow warning? Let's say i don't have oil to top up and can't get it yet but still need to drive the car, what would be safe distance for me to drive before i really need to top it up ?

My wife's 2005 X5 3.0d was suffering from a lot of lag and transmission seemed dithery like it was half asleep. I tried this and it feels like it's completely woken the car up. Thanks
