My name is Marty and I’m now attempting to move into full time retirement after several years as a Machinery Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry. I've now decided to follow my childhood passions working on what are now classic / vintage cars, “back in the day” these vehicles were current models. I used to work part time @ MG International in Birkenhead, rebuilding my first MG which I bought off my Mum some time around 1988-89.
My restoration journey isn't going to be a range of concours MGBs it's going to be just building them to the standard I want to.
There will be some subtle modifications to hopefully make the vehicle look better and run a bit better reliably.
This is going to be a bit of a journey, so when you subscribe please feel free to interact and suggest any good ideas. I typically don't show me "doing" stuff because personally I prefer to show what I did and the issues I had, and show the finished product of my efforts.
