Hello there! Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Cat and I’m a Veterinary Nurse from Liverpool, UK. I love nature, the great outdoors, photography, but above all travel and new adventures! My Happy Place would have to be anywhere with an epic view and my camera in hand!
I set up this channel mainly for my own memories but if anyone wants to come along for the ride they are more than welcome! You can expect travel vlogs, UK hikes and adventure vlogs and maybe even some photography thrown in too ☺️
Follow me on Instagram for my photography/daily life content!
We can't wait to do our first non-private RIP Tour this year. I'm confused. Don't you see the HHN opening show on the balcony? Or is that only for private tours?
This is the first of your videos that I’ve watched. Could I kindly suggest you look directly at your audience, instead of yourself, as it makes it much more personal for us. I find vloggers who constantly look at themselves while they’re talking very distracting. Apart from that, I thought your video was great and I’ll be looking at more of them xxx
Hi Cat, amazing video and good to see another person from the UK smashing it. I'm from Liverpool and I'm attending the RIP tour this year by myself (the wife can't handle it haha). Did you see anyone going solo? It's my first time doing the RIP tour so a tad nervous.
Thank you so much! 🥰 we actually had someone solo on this RIP tour and they seemed to love it regardless! You can’t guarantee the type of people you will have in your group or whether it’s lots of couples or a few bigger groups or lots of solo people, but tbh I don’t think it would really matter too much. I’m pretty sure when you check in at the RIP entrance at the very start of the evening if you mention you are solo and would like to be in a group with other solo people they will try to accommodate you. There will be a lot of groups all starting at each time slot and I think it’s relatively easy for them to switch people around. Either way I am sure you will get chatting and make friends with people on your tour… I actually spent a lot of time chatting to the actual tour guide! And after all, you’ll all have one thing in common: a love for HHN! Have the best time in the fog! 🎃💀
May I ask is the upgrade option gets offered all the time please? I’m looking at booking with them when going to Orlando but also wants to fly business but it’s £2K per person return but if it’s £200 upgrade from economy ticket, I want to do it that way instead as it’s much cheaper. Is there anyway that offer is on all year round or is it just off season?
There will always be an option to pay to upgrade your economy seat, yes (provided there are business class seats left), but the price will vary a lot. Even from one day to the next, the price to upgrade will go up and down. My brother flew with them to Orlando 2 weeks after us and they wanted over £600 pp each way to upgrade on his flight, despite it still being off season, same month etc. I would say the business class on Aer Lingus definitely isn’t worth £2K pp if you want my honest opinion, so I would just buy an economy seat and then watch the upgrade price. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Thank you so much! Glad to hear you found it useful 🥰 yeah you can use your RIP lanyard for fastpass entry to any of the open attractions, enjoy the scare zones, grab a drink for some Dutch courage and don’t forget to enjoy the complimentary buffet! Make sure you hit the buffet at least 45-30mins before your tour starts so you’ve got time to enjoy it but also keep you fuelled for the long, exciting evening ahead! Have the best time, maybe see you there, we also have an 8pm tour booked in Sept 👀😉
@@cat.knight ooh fantastic! We’re there 18th Sept. It’s our travel day that day too so thinking we’ll need a big coffee as well as the cocktails!!! Enjoy! :D
Hope you had an amazing time! The beach club we visited was very expensive, yes, but we only went the once. Plenty of more affordable options around ☺️ thanks for watching 💛
Awww I think it must seem like that because we only ever really film our trips and not our everyday lives, but it definitely doesn’t feel to us like we’re always away! 🤣 We are lucky enough to go on 2-3 holidays and 1 or 2 weekends away a year, but we definitely prioritise saving for trips over a lot of other things. We never go out drinking, rarely go out for food and don’t really have expensive taste in clothes 🤣 any spare coins always go in the holiday pot! ✈️🌎💛
We had a hire car and used the ferry, but this was actually really unnecessary after we had to change our plans and shorten the trip. We had already booked and paid for the car so we took it but it would have been easier and cheaper to just get the passenger ferry directly from Dubrovnik to Hvar and then Hvar to Split to fly home again 🙂
Thanks for another great vlog Catherine and Dean the views are stunning what a beautiful place still having a giggle over that taxi boat lol x have a safe trip home xx

Great steal on the upgrades! If you don’t mind me asking, how far in advance to the day of your flight did you get the £200 offer for your upgrades ?

Just started watching your videos. You may of stated it and I just missed it but could you please tell me what date did you fly. Im looking at booking next year and really want to do business class. Don't mind which airline but if I could get it for the price you guys paid, I will be super happy. You mentioned that May is an expensive month. Any advice on which is a cheaper month to fly.
Welcome to the channel, thank you for being here! 🥰 we flew on September 9th 2023 if my memory serves me correctly 🤣 end of May was expensive because it was the start of May half term in the UK when we flew. It’s also a very busy time in the parks because it is “Grad(uation) Week” for a lot of the American high school/college seniors so a lot of families go on vacation to celebrate, and Memorial Day Weekend in the states… any time outside of US/UK school holidays, bank holidays or seasonal holidays are quieter/cheaper times to go. Sept/Oct/Nov (except for Halloween) and Jan/Feb/March (dependant on when Easter is) are generally cheaper and quieter times to go. Definitely avoid Easter and American Spring Break, Summer Holidays and Christmas if you want to avoid the crowds and cheaper flights! Hope this helps ☺️
I believe it was South Windsor Blvd between 4th and 5th street. Just be aware that the sign will be very small to the eye from here. The photo was achieved with a zoom lens 🙂 hope this helps.

It was a very good live blog yesterday of your chili out walks around Dubrovnik on your croatia walking tour chilling out and relaxing having some drinks at coral Beach club Dubrovnik restaurant for the holiday vibes cat and dean
I was just loving that then a pesky teenager puts Netflix on. Really want to go to Croatia not sure of the area would love to see some vlogs of your hotel and location look lush
Least you got to see and cross Bixby bridge, which we didn't when we drove PCH in April....was absolutely gutted!....we drove from San Francisco all the way to San Diego....in a dodge charger GT.... amazing!
The RER lines make more stops than the TGV lines. The TGV train we took was direct and took around 10 minutes, so no need change with our luggage etc. We have used the RER lines to get to Disney when staying in central Paris, but from the airport it is much more convenient to use the TGV service 🙂
