Join Dean and I as we take you along for a full Halloween Horror Nights RIP Tour including descriptions and backstories for all the haunted houses and scare zones, along with footage from all 5 of the scare zones and the Nightmare Fuel: Revenge Dream show too!
We get lost in the fog and come face to face with Dr. Oddfellow himself, along with his nightmarish oddities. He promises immortality in return for our souls, but do we decide to follow Oddfellow?
We feel that the RIP Tour is THE best way to experience all that HHN has to offer, especially if you only want to spend 1 night at the event! We hope you enjoy coming along for the screams and if you're planning a trip to HHN this year we hope our video helps get you excited and gives you some insight into what you can expect from this year's event!

Glad to hear you found it useful 🥰 yeah you can use your RIP lanyard for fastpass entry to any of the open attractions, enjoy the scare zones, grab a drink for some Dutch courage and don’t forget to enjoy the complimentary buffet! Make sure you hit the buffet at least 45-30mins before your tour starts so you’ve got time to enjoy it but also keep you fuelled for the long, exciting evening ahead! Have the best time, maybe see you there, we also have an 8pm tour booked in Sept 👀😉

Hi Cat, amazing video and good to see another person from the UK smashing it. I'm from Liverpool and I'm attending the RIP tour this year by myself (the wife can't handle it haha). Did you see anyone going solo? It's my first time doing the RIP tour so a tad nervous.

Thank you so much! 🥰 we actually had someone solo on this RIP tour and they seemed to love it regardless! You can’t guarantee the type of people you will have in your group or whether it’s lots of couples or a few bigger groups or lots of solo people, but tbh I don’t think it would really matter too much. I’m pretty sure when you check in at the RIP entrance at the very start of the evening if you mention you are solo and would like to be in a group with other solo people they will try to accommodate you. There will be a lot of groups all starting at each time slot and I think it’s relatively easy for them to switch people around. Either way I am sure you will get chatting and make friends with people on your tour… I actually spent a lot of time chatting to the actual tour guide! And after all, you’ll all have one thing in common: a love for HHN! Have the best time in the fog! 🎃💀

How is the parking and could you do regular rides while on the RIP tour.?

We had valet parking included with the RIP Tour and had our car given back to us within 1 minute after we left the park at 2am. Previous experiences when we’ve left at 12-1am it’s been a much longer wait for your car at the valet, so I think it depends whether you leave at a busy time or not. During the tour you don’t have time to do the rides, you are taken from house to house with a few bar & restrooms stops and a break watching the show. But before and after your tour your RIP pass acts as an unlimited fastpass for all the rides ☺️

Man I absolutely hate the fact that the tour guide explains the entire haunted house and what’s inside before even going through the house. I was considering doing this tour but now I’m not sure.

I can definitely see where you’re coming from, but I actually love hearing the whole back story to the houses before entering them, especially the “original” ones with no IP attached. There is usually an elaborate and intricate story behind them that you never get to fully understand unless someone explains them or you spend time reading up online beforehand. I think hearing the story right before you head in helps you to fully immerse yourself in it. They also give you little “Easter Eggs” and interesting things to look out for in the houses. Having done HHN with standard tickets, express passes and RIP Tours at different times over the years, I personally think the RIP tours offer the best overall experience, but obviously at a price. Last year I found the back story of Dr Oddfellow and his links to Jack the Clown absolutely fascinating and wouldn’t have had a CLUE about any of it without the tour guide explaining it. I hope you have an amazing time whichever ticket you decide to buy ☺️

@@cat.knight I don't mind them explaining the backstory. That part is pretty neat, but he's definitely throwing out major spoilers talking about specific things that are going to happen like mentioning the wire spot with the Hunchback inside the Universal Monsters house...or the vomit smell inside the Exorcist house. He should let the RIP tour group go through the house, witness everything and THEN point out those types of things after you exit.

Guests are perfectly fine to interact with and talk to the scare actors if that's what they'd like to do, there are plenty of staff around to keep them safe from harassment. I feel like potentially she knew a few of them because I agree, she did speak to quite a lot of them. Possible a fellow Universal employee or a local with a Frequent Fear Pass who attends the event regularly and has got to know them over time? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Who knows, but I'm sure she was causing no harm 😊
