Little Wing is a Westsail 32 built in California in 1976. The design is based on boats by the Naval Architect Colin Archer which was later adapted by William Atkin and then by William Crealock to facilitate construction in fibreglass.

I don’t know about anyone else but when the lee rail is constantly underwater the angle of heel becomes too uncomfortable to stand in the cockpit. Time to bear away and get the boat on more of an even keel. That’s just me 😆👍
Great stuff 👍 A good friend of mine just recently had gave me a gift.. Witch is the same Yacht like yours. It just needs some work to be done on it. And off i go😅 . Perhaps some day will bump in to eachother 😂 Good on ya guy's! Great video.. Cheers, Joe from Sydney
Only thing that I don't like is how that Rocna sits on the anchor roller. Perhaps a Spade or a Delta would fit better? Also, looks as if the rudder was designed to catch pot lines. On my Glander Cay 23 I was able to remove the " catchy" protrusion of the rudder, but that does not seem possible on the Westsail. Perhaps a bronze tang extending from the keel to under the rudder?
Motor boat drivers ruin pretty much everything at every opportunity. When you have an entire ocean why park your bus right on top of a sailor? And the motor boat closest to you invariably starts their drunken orgy at the time sailors like to sleep in order to rest for the next favorable tide.
Very nice. My only gripe (which I have no right to make as it is not my boat) is how that Rocna sits on the bow roller. I like the Delta for its all-around reliability.
Hi guys. I'm a new subscriber having fallen in love with the Westsail 32. What a fantastic boat! I love your videos with their mix of unadulterated sailing sequences and your friendly presentations. Keep up the good work. I notice your dinghy fits nicely on the foredeck - what type and size is it? many thanks 🙂
Thank you. Please make more. Just the sound of the boat, rig. Their sounds mixed with the sea. Therapy for many. Get to go Sydney on occasion if your in the neighborhood talk boats and stories.
@@littlewing.ws32 That would be good! Wotama's rig has been out for a while for chain plate replacement and a few things arising from that. But we're on the home stretch. Are you back at WMYC?
@@littlewing.ws32 The chain plates went back in more easily than expected. Chiro might be required for my back after all the sanding and painting! See you out there soon!
