What happens if he goes into shame and anger because it’s too painful for him to hear that his behaviors hurt her so much over so many years. And he feels too much discomfort. And has no interest in taking responsibility for his actions and/or neglect and the impact it had on her.

I was so saddened to hear about her passing. I graduate on May 18th and over this last 2.5 years, I have consumed everything Sue Johnson I can get my hands on... I would have loved to have met her. The field lost a great one...

I found Dr. Johnson book and videos when My marriage was collapsing and broken hearted I wanted with desperation my wife listen to her teachings but it was to late . She was already deep into new age spirituality and told me I had a attachment and must find my own way to happiness . Needless to say she ended using drugs , divorce came and had to take over my 4 children . It was very painfull and difficult I ended believing that indeed I had an attachment stop believing in romantic love and embraced MGTOW philosophy. 5 years has passed and I think there are no more women like Dr Jhonson that generation is the last one who practiced her teachings . Those man who got that kind of women are blessed. Modern women are rotten and is not possible to bond with them . Their promiscuity makes it impossible . I am happy for the marriages that listened her teachings . She helped to understand why I was felling the way I felt and knowladge will always heals the pain of ignorance .
Such a touching way to honor the life of a woman who's changed me and thousands of therapists around the world. What an amazing legacy she leaves behind.
