Dear Daniel. Compliments on our work. I'm sure it takes a lot of accuracy and tuning. To me at least it is basically a linear, motorized clock, and therefore not very interesting. If you'd make, and explain the making of a non-linear, elliptic clock that would run like a solar system and still have some periodicity, that would be very, very interesting!
I got a basic question: If the gears are all connected to the same shaft on side, why are they even moving at different speed? Since they are all connected to the same rod, they should have rotated at same speed.
