Great video Ken. Loved it! I had a question for you. Have you tried recording the audio with a video on your device or SD card and replayed it. While my video is fantastic, the audio seems jumbled and scrambled for me. Would you mind checking that for me? Or possibly a setting issue or config issue to get a cleaner audio? I tried with both audio monitoring on and off and the effect was still the same.
Great video! Would you be interested in collaborating with us? We are producing a video and photo editing plugin called Dehancer. If yes, how could we get in touch?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you aren't using that mic properly, The Procaster is a Top address microphone, Kinda like a Stage mic, you're supposed to talk into the top of it, speaking into the side makes the mic sound significantly muddier than it actually is, though this review is 3 years old so I hope you've had luck with mic technique since!
I have really bad plosives so I always use it to the side. I know it is used from the top down. But if I used it that way I would sound like fireworks.
unbelievable! the amount of times i was *this* close to purchasing a camera because i thought my phone wasn’t enough, and all this time i could’ve just focused on the lightning! the first and second shot in this video look like they come from two massively different cameras! 🫨 thank you so much for this tips!!
Getting cut off or “clipping” has to do with your gain. If your voice is louder than allows it clips. Adjust your gain to be lower so you have room to scream.
@@KenTheContentCoachYT okay so its just the gain. Thank you so so much! I had been told dynamics wouldn't be good because I play horror a lot and scream and get high pitched sometimes.
This comment comes about 3 years too late, but at the moment, FetHead has a regular neutral model and a FetHead Germanium model - where SW's product page says "NOS Germanium transistor produces a punchy, larger-than-life sound with tons of *ear-grabbing coloration*." From some user reviews on another site, apparently that model will deliver a 1960s Abbey Road Studios sort of color, emulating some sort of unobtainable mic pre's. (I've tried neither. Just researching to potentially buy one.)
Wow videos like this are harder to find on YT these days. Straight to the point, informative, brief. No super long intro with product placement or preambles etc. Much appreciated!!
Did you take into consideration that cheap card can only capture yuv2 in 5fps , and cam link 4k should be able to do 60fps 1080p, wouldn't it look a lot more different?
Great video as usual. Your videos are really interesting and never disappoint I was wondering if I can contact you in some way like Instagram, E-mail or something, I'd like to talk to you personally Thank you
About 98% if the population can survive on an M1 chip. There’s never a lot of noticeable differences in this tech crap unless there’s a 5-8 year time gap.
i love what you said about intro babble. Click bait titles and not getting to the info in their titles, live streams are sometimes the worst. Ten minutes fixing a tech problem then greeting a lot of people who are there. It is like get to your topic in your title a lot sooner.
If you go back and take a look at your side-by-side, A/B comparison still shots between the 2, notice the background. With the Angler and grid, your background stays darker as there is less reflective light being cast around the room vs. the Godox. The larger dimension of the Angler should give you both a softer light and more wrap-around of your face (depending on how you position it.)
