Thank you. Another great video, direct, to the point along with voice samples of a variety of words. A clear explanation of carotid microphone, mic feel, and weight, cost, XLR, eq, additional pop filter sample. All under 5 minutes!
Hello I had a look to see if you had any videos on how to wire up these kind of mics. I have only ever used USB ones. (Newbie technophobe alert) This is all new to me. I like your videos so far. Lots of creative artists like myself are finding themselves having to work from home and create digital content to earn during this pandemic. I myself would normally tell stories live at events. Now I am getting commissions to work from home and record my voice instead. I have tried lots of different things and your channel has so far been the most accessible and engaging. Thanks
Recommendations on shock mounts for this particular mic? The one specifically designed for this mic is just a bit too bulky and wanted something a bit smaller?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you aren't using that mic properly, The Procaster is a Top address microphone, Kinda like a Stage mic, you're supposed to talk into the top of it, speaking into the side makes the mic sound significantly muddier than it actually is, though this review is 3 years old so I hope you've had luck with mic technique since!
I have really bad plosives so I always use it to the side. I know it is used from the top down. But if I used it that way I would sound like fireworks.
