You will definitely help lots of people out there friend. I also have a 2007 Camry and always reset it with my scanner but I'm pretty sure not everyone out there has a 2k scanner . Never knew there was a manual method pretty good to know . They are making care nowadays that when you battery dies you have to take it to the dealership cause the car wont move and windows wont roll down 😂😂😂😂 ridiculous.
If used for serious purposes, NO! Not as long as there are good new and used Glocks, Sigs, S&Ws, CZs, etc. Save a few dollars more and get a reliable, fight-proven gun. Go to any good LGS and tell them you are serious about being responsible for your safety. I am sure they will have or help you find a used Glock or other top-tier gun you can bet your life on. Question, when was the last time you saw a Taurus in the holster of an LEO or US Mil?
Darrel interesting I own 2 sig p365 1 365xl canik tp9 elite Glock 19& 26 h&k and a FN and the wife owns a smith. curious in the well over 50k rounds Ive shot over the last 8 years why your comment is accurate. sig had drop issue and still does smith & wesson is so so glock i can 3d print in my house and make stamped metal internals and there triggers are trash, you spend 600-7 hundo on a gun and must spend 400 more to make it a good pistol. think its fair to say you prefer the brand name not that you have actual experience with taurus failures and you opinion is based on misinformation not fact. But genuinely thank you for actually putting in a comment that is at least sensible to read
Thanks for answering. Really good to explore ideas from others and maybe we can both learn something? As far as Sigs go, the drop issue seems to be related to just the 320 line and not the M17 or M18s. As for experience, I carried a p226 for 16+ years and it worked well when called upon against a butcher knife-wielding assailant. Most would agree the p226 was and is a superior fighting gun. Maybe you disagree? Now as an R-LEO, I do the CCW Course for the State and over the last 8 or so years I have seen a lot of different guns weekly come through and try to complete a very basic 50rnd State mandated course. It is my observation over that period, that the S&Ws and the Glocks consistently, work and go the 50rnd course. Of course, those that don't, have usually been user-modified. Others may work well but these two are the most consistent? Of the two guns that fail to function when needed for the course, Taurus and SCCY seem to fail the most. Anecdotally: 1-Student with a new Taurus reported firing 200 flawless rounds. On the first leg of the firing course, firearm seized and couldn't be cleared and was taken up to the gunsmith to extract the round in the chamber. Student failed being unable to complete the course. No, it wasn't life and death but the Taurus failed to function when he needed it. 2-Same course, four on the line. Two had different Taurus', one SCCY and one S&W. Only one was able to complete the course of fire. Three failed and one passed with his S&W. I did notice you didn't say the Glocks and Smiths didn't work, you just don't seem to care for them and that is just fine. Guess that's why there are Fords and Chevrolets so you can choose to your liking? I guess the only slightly annoying point you made was my lack of experience with the Taurus and my willful spreading of "misinformation." Really no matter, but I thought I would mention it. So after 8 years of seeing folks spend good money on Taurus and the like and seeing them fail on the range, I have drawn the conclusion from my and their bad experiences that given a choice, I would look elsewhere other than Taurus.
@@THEMANCAVE2023 because its my opinion. I have an ATI OmniMax AR15 that's run 1000s of rounds with no issues but, it's TRASH....hard to explain but hopefully u get my point.
Thanks man! You helped me out tremendously with this video! I did subscribed and liked, and I am sharing it right now! The least I could do for you. You saved me at least $173 inspection fee with a dealer+$$$$ for repairor $600 with a mechanic that he will convince you that you need to change something else!!!!😄
every car will have an initial slightly higher rev upon startup.. my car generally hits about 1000/1200rpm upon start and then idles around 700/800 rpm the initial high idle is the car essentially providing choke to start a cold engine.
I have a question, on the stock radio, is the radio rivited in or are there screws to take it off of the factory trim? I dont really like the aftermarket kit and yes i know there would be holes where all the old buttons are but i could live with that as the new radio i am looking at getting would cover it. (13.3in Joying).
MTD has been using the plastic bushings on the front wheels for years.Suprizingly they last pretty well & greasing can be done with a standard grease gun. May not last 35 years, but can knock some grass down!
Anybody have any input on the right side pedal for ground speed.Harder you push, faser you go. Mowing a large yard, constant pressure is required on the pedal to go forward or reverse.Need a way to "lock in" on a good ground speed so you don't need to constantly push hard on the pedal.
I tack welded a small bracket to mine so my forward motion is about 2.5-3 mph. I use.this when mowing my back yard as it's 3/4 acre. In front yard just use the pedal as it smaller and has slopes
Many people rag on the variable speed drive. This belt drive variablespeed system has been around since the 70's desined by MTD. Works great & gives quick pedal adjustment to slow up for close cutting on obstacles & flower beds. MTD might not last 35 years, but it can knock down the grass!
Agreed it's no hydrostatic unit but when I got mine it was 999 dollars if it broke tomorrow it's done 999 dollar.worth of.hard work for me since 2019. I hauled over 50 loades of 6ft 14inch rounds trees (over 2000 lbs each) can't tell.you how many.loads of 20 cubic ft of.dirt mulch over my 1 acre lot plus grass cutting. It's not designed.for any of that but she runs
The 46 inch cut is a good deal. I drilled a 1/8 hole up high on the transaxle & added about a pint of 80w /140 gear lube to keep it lubed. These transaxles have about two blobs of grease from the factory for a lifetime of use.Go figure? MTD might not last 35 years but can really knock down the grass. Maintainance is key to good proformance.
Do you wear glasses or have a stigmatism (wear glasses due to eye not being perfectly round ?) If so it can cause it to look grainy If you don't might wanna get those eyes checked. Did the same with me contacted company and they let me know what was up. I was mad cause my buddy said man it's clear &$#@% hole
@@THEMANCAVE2023 hahaha no glasses here but my eyes suck..the first day i got it it looked great , yesterday was fuzzy.. but i did look it up, its just me hahaha i guess.. thx sir..
I wanted to see how you connected the mounting bracket to the head unit but it appears that part got lost on the editing room floor. 😂 There's no holes on the side of the deck to mount the bracket to.
@@THEMANCAVE2023 I figured it out. I didn't see any holes in the side because I had the metal sleeve still covering the unit. I thought that was all one piece. 😂
I just bought the same one u got today for 700 bucks it was a display model ut regular price was 748..not bad.. eotechs website hasnt had them in over 4 months.. couldn't wait any longer..
Thank you so much for this review! One thing that looks different from my old LT2000 is the handle for the hydrostatic drive. How does it work on the 140? Thanks again!
This unit is an automatic transmission not a hydrostatic. Same type principle but this uses a foot petal and a belt system to adjust speed not as robust as hydrostatic but I've beat the dog.crap out of mine and it still.runs. I honestly dis not think I'd still own it with all the works it's done that is was not intended for
