Yeah! This is GOLD! Greetings from Australia, and congratulations to you on this personal message from Doctor Who to you, which happens to be my HERO as well! Another kindred spirit? I love Pyramids of Mars.....I think my first memory where I was absolutely transfixed to the small TV screen in those days, and it was so memorable and important to me that I would quote the Doctor's words about SUTEK when I went to exhibitions with special Egyptian treasures in particular with my Mum here in Australia, even later on when I was way over 35 years old! Being the Geek Girl I was and I still am....I must have offered much amusement to others, who were, as indicated by their sniggers, quite clearly familiar with this Doctor's character and adventures! I am still a big admirer of my Doctor Who and his positive energy and charm! So happy that Mr Tom Baker is still sending such great positive energy throughout the universe!😃 I really love in particular his adventures with Leela, but when I think back and look at episodes on DVDs now, I can really see how much he really had a very special bond and true friend energy with Sarah Jane - not only the Doctor's "best friend", but I imagine a great friend to all in the Whoinverse 🙂😆 I hope this always keeps you smiling and that you are happy and well! Cheers, Elle😺
Gary, Gary sounds like a thoroughly nice chap! 😉 My favourite story is The Brain of Morbius. Though I recently discovered I had misremembered it as talking place in a lighthouse! I now know that was Horror of Fang Rock. Best wishes to you and Mr Baker anyway from an Englishman in a French forest and his biomechanical lobster-clawed assistant. 🤖 Long may you both reign! 🌞🇬🇧
Hi Nigel. Many thanks for your comment - without question one of the nicest I've read so far. Indeed, Morbius is another 'great', although Fang Rock didn't quite live up to my memory from watching as child, but I was only 5 or 6 in 1977. Was inspired to have a peep at your profile and, gosh, what a wonderful life you lead? Watched a few of your RU-vid videos and you, clearly, have magic hands! Astonishingly impressive and I'll pop in and watch some more in the coming couple of days. Curiously, the 'From England and France' made me smile, as I work with two French companies while living in England. I often say that I was probably French in my last life. 😉 May I wish you the very best, from an English guy in England with 4 non-mechanical clawed cats... à bientôt, Gary
@@Clavinovaman Good morning Gary, I have only just been notified of your reply. Bless you from someone else with a row of angry, hungry cats staring at him from the kitchen windowsill! I am about to upload some better quality videos to my channel as I have decided to allow a peek behind the curtain so to speak and at the same time not give a **** about the consequences! 🤔😂 If ever you should find yourself over here in Brittany, you would be most welcome for a cup of tea... but bring warm socks and rubber boots! Best wishes to you. 🌞
My favorite tom baker episode was the keeper of taken. I love watching that episode over and over again. My favorite part was when the master kills casia when he materializes his tardis in the keeper's chair. Then, he tells the consuls that casia sacrificed herself so that he can become keeper. Afterwards, the doctor replied, "poor old casia had little say in the matter." That was funny.
What a wonderful message from THE Doctor himself! Tom Baker is a national treasure, always has been, I was lucky enough to meet him when I was 6 years old, he was always my dad's favourite growing up and when he saw him to see my dad have such glee on his face I will never forget that, and it was lovely! The people running it said "Oh your hair is just how Tom's used to be! You will make his day!" I remember going up to him and he smiled brightly helping me onto the counter to sit with him saying "Well! I certainly didn't expect to see you Doctor!" Truly he is such a pure hearted loving man, so much respect for him! 😊😊😇🥰💝💖
2:32: You'll notice from the score card after the first round that I achieved a base score of 1,425, objectives 7,000, no damage 2,000, no kills 5,000 and stealthy 1,000. If you are to add those scores up, you get 16,425, yet my total score was 44,425. _Therefore, there is an extra 28,000 coming from somewhere._ 1:00: It's all about creating a chain - as big a chain as possible. So in order... Munition 1 open, shooting the nest allows the nest to be pickable, shooting the arrow results in the guard to move away from the area, picking up the radio gives you an opportunity to throw it which creates a hiss that attracts other guards which, again, moves them from the area... 1:40: You are now ready for your chain. Pick up the crate, munition 2, munition 3, oil fill, ammo pick up, nest, ammo, crate, rotate and jump to finish... And that's where the bonus came from. If I had included the 1st munition box in my chain, I would have had 49,425. If I also included the tree and the nest (2:07) next to the ammo at the edge, my score would have been over 60,000 for that round.
@@humacroft667 I should also add that if you fall or trip where Lara shouts an ‘Aaww’, your chain resets. Additionally, if you move abruptly or stop mid chain, the chain also resets. In instances such as those, I always reload the round and try again.
Yes, I've just played this week's easy Remnant Resistance games, one for Siberian Wilderness (225K this week) and The Village (172K). Didn't record them though. I may record some more soon... :)
Tom Baker has always been the best Doctor , All the following ones tried to keep up but fell short in some regards, John Pertwee was also very good. Bless You Tom....
@@Clavinovaman I totally recommend giving Capaldi's run a chance! He's no Tom Baker but they ditched all of the dreadful romance and deification of the character and it's really quite good.
Great Work! Here is the swedish version from Chess, it's on spotify. a shame they didnt use it on the original, it's so beautiful! open.spotify.com/track/7CCeiFkJFppBPEcYu0qlhI?si=rMbpNVD_Qv6lOAb8BFUEuA
The way you describe the song is very much what I think. And your play is just wonderful. This is really one of Benny´s finest compositions. To me the most haunting ones, though it´s quite complex and difficult to sing.
If you ever record the full version with the exact notes Benny played on the demo, I would buy a copy without a shadow of doubt. Yours even sounds mch better than the demo.
