We are sorry you are not own board with all types of bodies doing , and enjoying yoga - including the non stereotypical muscled male. But we firmly believe yoga is for everyone and is is helpful to portray different type of bodies practicing.
This is misleading So you're trying to say that yoga is for women only? That you have to create a separate distinct yoga for men? That's funny Are you even aware that the original India Yoga Masters are all male? And yet they didn't even call it "broga"
In Western countries, yoga studios are mostly women, so the direction and vibe of the class is not always welcoming for normal dudes. In India, average people men or women don't do yoga LOL. I spent a lot of time there. Hilarious. All the white girls and vegan boyfriends flock there to learn.
Daniel it absolutely is just yoga… but it’s all in the style and formatting that makes it broga: anatomical and alignment based, progressive reps and sets and building flexibility strength and doing cardio all at the same time!😉😊
Hey Thars!! What I would suggest is download the streaming “home workouts” on our website Broga.com they are I. English but you can stop and start them and and the audio is very clear and professional
Really enjoyed the taster workout this morning. I’ve been following Matt for years and wanted to try Broga, but always a little intimidated about going to a class. As someone who has lifted heavy weights for years I assume I had no flexibility. I shouldn’t have worried. It was tough, definitely out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed it. I’ve sighted up fo the home workouts. Thanks all
Dan - so glad you could join! And thanks for signing up! Anyone is welcome to a free class just by registering on broga.com/class-timetable ! 3 classes a day LIVE on RU-vid! See you on the mat again Dan!
Traceur I wholeheartedly agree with you that the current state of the milk industry as concerns inhumane animal welfare, inferior feed , artificial preservation and processing, and genetic alteration is deplorable. But our human history over thousands of years and our relationship with milk as a primary food source is also indisputable. So is the effect of milk on the health of a general population with the effects of milk added into a diet previously laking that food source ( like china for instance where the introduction on milk in the general population diet post 1950 to 1970 caused a significant overall population height in crease of over 2 inches during that period ) My suggestion to everyone on milk is the same as meat (which you probably also don't eat) and that is strive know where your food comes from EXACTLY and make sure you are ok with how it was produced. As for milk , I am obsessed with raw milk from Jersey cows which are ancient French breeds with a preponderance of A2 milk proteins which are the same as in human milk versus the more common Holstien cattle that have mostly A1 protein which humans do not have. Buying from local producers at a farmers market ensures that the cows are free roaming, grass fed and live a pastoral life. ~Raw milk ensures that I will benefit from the bacteria and enzymes including the naturally occurring lactase needed for optimal nutrition, digestion and also gut microbial balance. Now I see nothing wrong with also using nut milks and I love myself some cashew milk. But don't also throw out blanket statements like milk is evil. The only thing that does is kill the business for those artisan producers who are trying to get it right !
Hey Matt - Thankyou SO much for making these!Question:How/when to incorporate these slow twitch versions? is it A) Add them onto the end of a regular chest workout? B) Have one of your weekly chest days be just slow twitch versions of every exercise? Thankyou! P.S your "Progress/Happiness" life hack video is excellent - I'm sharing that everywhere.
Totally agree! It's not a state you reach and then you're forever happy! We're always striving for more but find happy moments in the things we achieve and then move onto the next. I'm glad I'm not just coasting through life anymore, just waiting to see if something pops up. I'm pushing my own boundaries and exceeding limitations I built up in my head. I like how quick and to the point your videos are
You are my inspiration to get back to the gym. I've been watching your videos for tips and hints and just looking at you pushes me to go further. You are in such amazing shape and seem like such a nice guy
i am really ethusiastic about exersize but every body part i have cramps up about a minute or 2 in. football and p.e were really fun for me. but excruciating pain prevented me from exersizing. i get cramps in my neck and stomach after a few situps, and my arms and legs get intense musle tightning cramps. all of my bones pop in different places. please help with exersises that can build up my body to not respond to exersises with cramps. I’ll take up this office workout challenge to see how it goes but I really need some help
how many times should this office workout be done in an 8 hour work day… sitting on my ass at a desk puts me in hibernation mode and by the time im off from work i want to go home and take a nap, not being motivated at all to go for a jog or go to the gym.. now i know people are probably gonna say, go for a walk on your break and eat while standing all that kind of stuff, but i dont get any breaks at all..
So glad I bumped into this video getting some practical office workout ideas is a godsend. This was great! I can also do this while I'm sitting in front of the tv. Love it!
