Almost didn’t watch this bc it says “beginner guide” and I thought I was better than that but turns out I’m still a beginner. Very nice technique that I haven’t seen yet during my two years of learning photoshop completely on RU-vid.
I always love your extraction videos. Somehow you're the one Photoshop RU-vidr that gives really advanced information on the subject. Great to have you back!
Can I please suggest that you explain how you get to your current GUI please...I do not see properties, libraries and certainly not quick actions!!! where are they??
Thanks for the tutorial, I only wish you would have spend more time explaining exactly where to find the tools you used. (Ie) the brush settings and the polygon laso tool? Thanks anyway.
I subscribe to Photoshop and I can’t find the quick actions you mention. It’s not under actions and help does not find any reference to it. Is this an add on ?
This is a great video - I'm going to give it all a try - thank you! One question for you, if you could, how do I then take just the extracted part and place it in AI to create a vector silhouette (to cut with my laser cutter)?
Wonderful video. Could you do a video using the pen tool, making a picture a coloring book page? Like a guitar or a drum set? There are so many things about the pen tool and settings that other tutorials don't go into detail. Can you cut a section out using the pen tool? Can you draw with the pen tool? How do you use the pencil tool?
I’ve cracked soft soft before twice as a kid. Never learned anytNice tutorialng to make anytNice tutorialng useful. Sad tNice tutorialng is a lot of my peers back then
@@tutvid I love your videos and you have a fantastic presentation style. I was sad when you took a break but I’m ecstatic now you’re back. Thanks for the effort you put in all of them. You are great, get it, got it, Good.
7-8 years ago the original tool worked fine. I could do it within a few clicks. Now i have to do more to get the same results in 2022. Adobe are a joke tbh.
1:05 I push "command or control-J" on my image as he instructs here and nothing happens. Does not duplicate the background. Also, the "remove background" button does not exist. So much for the "beginner's guide".
