It's a shame that - because of copyright issues - the full documentary and the original audio aren't available: this is by far the best documentary on the Hashima island, just the fact we are able to see a former inhabitant go back to the place of his childhood and tell us his memories and feelings is very captivating.
@@nordanstad In my country (Italy) most of the documentary is without audio, here and there you can hear some dialogue or ambient sounds then seconds later it goes back to being muted.
Beautiful, as he said, for some people it may just be an island that cannot generate any profit, but for some, it IS their past, an essential part of their life. THAT cannot be thrown away.

І ў гэтым наш нейкі беларускі праклён: адна частка народу умоўна жыве ў краіне хітрых, подлых ды гнусных людзей пад БССРаўскім сцягам(ён іх дарэчы вельмі добра сімвалізуе) і гімнам так званай "стабільнасці". Другая ж частка народу жыве ў краіне якой у рэчаіснасці не існуе, але яна існуе ў нашым розуме, мроях , дзе табе ніхто не забараняе размаўляць па-беларуску, ніхто не стаіць над галавой і не дзяўбе тваё сумленне, не падманвае і не радуецца чужой бядзе, дзе лунае бел-чырвона-белы сцяг і імчыць пагоня. І быццам бы па дакументах пашпарт аднолькавы ва ўсіх, а такая розніца ў сэнсах... І так заўсёды. Мо калісьці мы ад гэтага пазбавімся, а пакуль вось такая лірыка.

Is it allowed to come to the island and stay all day? This can be a kind of ghost hunter location or seeing an apparition or a test of courage if there is a ghost hunter organization or association in Japan
@@nordanstad I'm a student living in Korea. Hashima forced many Koreans to work in an underground coal mine for 12 hours a day in World War II. My grandfather went to Hashima, too. However, Japan registers it as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, let alone an apology. I had to notify them of the forced recruitment, but they didn't. But most of the Japanese didn't get proper history education. I tried to criticize Japan, but I apologize if you felt bad. There might be a misunderstanding because you reply with a translator.

La città di Mensk è la prima di quelle due città, non si può vederla su carte moderne. Vive essa dentro il cuore, dentro la testa di molti coloro che sono gli abitanti di Minsk. É Minsk dove sono iscritti loro all’anagrafe e dove si trovano la giunta comunale, il palazzo di ghiaccio, il muro di cemento, le ombre spettrali di case distrutte, ed i giorni trascorsi della mia infanzia. Abitiamo nel momento stesso in due città, lo sdoppiamento della personalità ci fa impazzire. Sarebbe vero che non riusciremo mai né a incollare, né ad attaccare uno nell’altro Mensk e Minsk? E le strade di Mensk invece sono piacevoli per le passeggiate. Un piccolo negozio, le vitrine sono illuminati confortevolmente. É lì dove sono i torri in stile gotico di chiese antiche, i tetti di tegole e le strade acciottolate, i cortili ed i muri di pietra. Abitiamo nel momento stesso in due città, lo sdoppiamento della personalità ci fa impazzire. Sarebbe vero che non riusciremo mai né a incollare, né ad attaccare...? Si confonde tutto a Minsk - il pane e l’azzimella, Il Glorioso Ottobre ed il Giorno dei morti, le lacrime dell’ubriachezza, e tale musica pop che non salverà né “Misim*”, né “Upsa**”. Hashima Island is a terrible island.It is a place where they forced Asians to work without giving them money or food.Japan now distorts its past and promotes it as an industrial island.Japan is now successful in distorting textbooks, so people don't know history.The German prime minister also pointed out Abe.
