Hello, my name is Katy, and I love to play the violin! I especially like playing Celtic music, and I have so much fun writing little tunes. I am not professional violinist/fiddler. I just like playing music as a hobby.
I play a lot of Celtic music, but I am an American from Colorado. ^_^
Feel free to say "Hi!" =)

You are amazing, how you play this song isso easy and helpfull for me. TODAY FIRST TIME I TOUCH A PIANO AND I CAN FOLLOW THGIS!! only one question. I really dont know how to do the vibrations from part b, it seems like you wiggle your finger hahah wow i cant!
❤😂 You can translate this comment in from persian language ! ( iran )
Thank you for posting this. I like how you folks played it. Fanny Power was one of the first tunes my 2nd teacher taught me, but I learned it a bit differently so now I can add this way to how I play it to make it more interesting.
Of course the most accurate title would be: drunken sailor, drowsy maggie and tam lin sea shanty remix /arrangement loll really good key changes and variations katy well done yo and helLlo from Canada ~ Roarr!

Beautifully played! Currently trying to learn it and came across your version and it is just fab! Very hard tune to learn with the first half! But hopefully I will get there!
I agree, butterflies have random and somewhat frantic patterns of flight and landings. Increasing the tempo better depicts their true nature. I have a little film clip near a tiny waterfall in a normally dry creek where dozens of migrating orange butterflies are desperately seeking hydration where water is splashing on a sandbank. They know they are vulnerable and space is limited so they're fluttering and landing and landing and fluttering in a very wary and nervous manner. I believe you captured the true essence of their nature in this rendition.😊😊😊
