Luckily me and my girlfriend got to play Cross-Controller online with custom servers, and it was actually so funny and alot better than you'd think, it is kinda difficult tho
well when your burned too many times, of course your gonna be happy when the next game looks good I like frontiers too, top 5 sonic games. its just there was alot to compare here
I don't agree that this will define Sonic's future since the main thing is shadow. Shadow hasn't been written well. For the longest time other than the bright spots like sonic prime 06 black Knight heroes forces and sa2 . Shadows own game had him written terribly until we get to the Canon ending he's written very good when he becomes super shadow in shadow 2005 but other things like boom and the main gameplay of shadow 05 he's not good his writing is terrible
Actually Since Shadow Generations Takes Place At The same time as Sonic Generations Infinite will not be in this game so its just gonna take inspiration from SA2, Heroes, Shadow 05 and 06 no Forces so Infinite is not gonna be a boss in this game but hey I could be wrong!
Keep in mind the 1 FUCKING STAGE was 6 whole minutes, so even if we get very few stages, we can still enjoy it for much longer than the 3 minutes of episode shadow in forces
Man, I REALLY hope the constant fearmongering of "Sonic Forces 2" doesn't give SEGA the wrong idea and have them put that out instead of another potential Adventure-esque title. It'd truly be a shame to see them ditch the rich Open Zone controls and feel to suddenly shift gears and retread the dogshit Lost World speed cap parameters slapped onto Boost Sonic that was Forces. Wouldn't it SUCK if they somehow made it even worse? Seriously though, why the hell is every Sonic RU-vidr afraid that Shadow Gens is gonna be Forces 2? It's ridiculous lmao.
people are afraid because boost games since generations have dropped down in quality drastically. frontiers is a great game but the weakest part was its cyber space stages. shadow generations is very easy to compare forces to because it seems to be based off a refined engine of forces. I think people have the right to be scared about it, we have been burned many times by sonic team and sega. even if I don't think it looks like forces at all
I can't answer if this looks more like Generations because I never played that game before. Playing this remastered version will mark the first time that will find out what the re-used stages in the Gens game look like. Recently I have been playing SA2 and I've been getting pretty impressed with the improvements that the Biolizard battle has compared to the original version of that boss battle. I'll be pre-ordering a physical copy of the Switch version because of that Gerald journal and the SA1 Sonic skin bonus and because I don't have any of the other modern consoles that this double game is said to be releasing on. I don't have a laptop PC yet either. I hope that it becomes true that the digital deluxe bonuses will become able to be sold seperately afterwards so that me and anyone else who has no other choice but to try to get those bonuses that way, can get them.
I’m pretty tired of worrying about “Sonic’s future” lol I’ll just keep playing the new games and offering criticism and taking inspiration where I can, it’s clear to me that Sonic team will never fully do what we want.
I wouldn’t say that. Sonic team looks to be finally looking towards the future. And refining things instead of just restarting what people thought didn’t work
@@TheTrueBrenden idk to me it kinda seems like the same 3d sonic we’ve had since unleashed but slightly worse within an allbeit fun if not vapid open world tacked on. Seems hmmm idk… stagnant? Like I still like all this new stuff but like I would’ve preferred if sega just finally went for classic sonic but in 3D, luckily indies and fan games fill that void pretty well so I really don’t care if Sonic team just keeps doing Sonic but in a bunch of hallways with no physics or momentum, I’ll just keep buying em anyways lol.
@@Chawle-ol3fu i wouldn’t say the adventure games really feel anything like the the actual classic games, they’re very artificial in their movement, but a lot of fan games and inspired indie games have.
