I used to have a 650 birdman but it was too heavy Patriot inn at the dealership and got myself the 400 2024 I like the 400 better I get 70 me it's a very comfortable I also have speakers on and a hawk stereo system and I put a and I also have an alarm it is very comfortable it is an excellent scooter 🛵🛵
Rode one of these, converted to a blood bike last week & can agree everything you've said about them, from handling to comfort. My only real issue is where the horn button is. I went to use the horn to warn a driver who went on to pull out in front of me at a roundabout, bearing in mind the bikes presence on the road & it being liveried in full yellow ambulance style. The natural reaction is to thumb the original horn button which does nothing. by the time i'd remembered the horn was that little white button above the controls, it was too late, I'd stopped inches from the car door, in the middle of a roundabout. Still I can at least vouch for the effectiveness of the brakes.
Struggled to get the audio side working and have requested they accept back for full refund, I ordered the W502B and very disappointed with it. But what do I replace it with ? Chigee ? Zumo XT. I got rid of my Nav 6 due to ghosting. Any suggestions ??
1290 SAs, Just love the in the wet! The only issue: the blocks on the shoulders wear faster that those just next to the centerline, which, after 6000 kms, makes the bike wobbly on certain angles. The difference in wear is about 1-2mm. How does the meridian compete with the mutant on the wet? nice reviews! 👍
My question is. How does the app work connecting to more than one unit? I have a few bikes and want one on each. But I also don't want the hassle of having to re-configure the app every time I switch bikes.
Back AGAIN?! Yes, I’m one of those people who review everything they’ve seen the first time regarding a product, (this time the Honda Forza 300)? Your comments are without question THE BEST not only for the Forza 300 but motor scooters in general! We in the United States are just NOT up to understanding that motor scooters are such a good ride for efficiency, comfort, protection and travel? Best to you always, Rola (Oregon / USA)
Eleven months ago, I purchased a very low mileage R1250GS (a former BMW machine), which despite its low mileage came with a brand new set of Bridgestone Battlax A41 tyres. Checking my bike over recently prior to a 2,000+ mile trip to Spain, I discovered the front tyre showed significant/premature signs of wear (1,900 from new). Subsequent to this I viewed your video outlining much the same issue with Toby’s GSA. To be fair the rear A41 is still looking good, but I have substantial concerns about the longevity of the front tyre on my bike, and I don’t need to be worrying about changing my front tyre during the course of my Spanish trip. This is my fourth BMW GS, on which I’ve always chosen to run Michelin Pilot Roads, and have been more than happy with. Bottom line is, gone with the Battlax A41 on the front, and in with the Michelin Road 6. In the fullness of time the rear will be replaced with Road 6, but in the meantime I’ll feel far more confident running a Road 6 rather than a Battlax A41. Is this a major issue for Bridgestone, or is the Battlax A41 simply not suitable for the BMW R1250GS? Answers please...
Great vid as usual , thanks. I've got used to using the BMW Connected app as a backup to my Nav iV, so I can definitely see the advantage in having the Chigee. You can use the Connected app as your GPS, with turn by turn on the BMW display, the mapping on your phone using Quad Lock and the choice of using Google Maps and the like on the Chigee screen. A more cost effective reason to ditch the BMW Nav iV at last.
We are trying to figure out if we got 2 lemons or if the issue is with the bike. Both sets of dvr and cameras are overheating even without riding the bike. Anyone having that issue with the K7?
Thanks for this Vid guy. I ride with an AGV Sports Modular and had exactly the same issue as yourselves with the volume. I gave Helen a ring at Utimateear and told her what I needed for my AGV Ark (Sena). Tom responded by email and pointed me towards the Female speaker splitter for Sena. Brilliant service. All ordered, cant wait for delivery now. It also means I can replace the helmet speaker inserts which will help with sound protection. Winner. BTW, what's the extra cable you have zip tied to your mic boom?
(Hoping you ride a new Zontes 350E (or even newer 368E)?! You have a dealer in the UK! Those scooters have virtually EVERYTHING!!!! Check ‘em out! Best / R👍🏻
Love your now 4 year old ride, (if I do say so myself)?! Great enthusiasm, comments & thoughts. @ 76 I still love two wheel adventure & especially things that surprise my notions of what I preconceived or thought I knew?! Your happy experience conveyed on video is enough to know! Best to you, carry on! Rola (Oregon / USA).
Hello. So I have bought one of these.Really happy with it but there is no info on the battery and how to manage the battery. I leave the unit on my bike in the cradle. I don't ride every day. When I do ride and the Chigee starts up it says "low battery". Not really a problem yet because it is new but won't there be a deterioration issue with the battery if I keep doing this. There is no info/instructions on this. Should the unit be removed from the bike when not riding?
I currently place my phone into the cradle for navigation and music, it charges at the same time, could you tell me the advantages of having this instead?
There is more: - waterproof - BMW wonder wheel works - 5 inch screen is still small (not much bigger then my Android Phone) - Google Assistent does not work while using a bluetooth headset (Chigee is working on this) - if you have an iPhone: go for it - if you have an Android Phone > check Chigee support forum about Google Assistent support before you buy one - you still need to use (and charge via USB) your phone and connect it wireless to the Chigee - when using MRA and some other apps, you need to set a route on your phone first, then put your phone away - if you want to change your route, you need to stop and park your bike and get your phone
CAN NOT CHANGE THE BATTERY DC2 Pro i have just bought!! IS VERY DISAPPOINTING So 2-3 years you throw it away 😱!! And I never got a GPS still timing filming time!! It might going back and get one I changed the battery 🔋
To hear a Brit repeat woke crap as in (my Gosh) not (my god) so it means I'm out, he's a fake, a weak person who hears what he thinks is trendy and repeats it. Na, not for me, O prefer a real male review manly things. Listening he sounds like he is having a orgasm. Perhaps that's the only ride he has ever had,
in my opinion these are cycling shorts that someone has though they could sell to motorcyclists. wore them for 6 hours and made very little difference if any. the gel seat needs to be bigger and as mark said it feels like your wearing a nappy😒
0Be careful out there in the world. FYI- I was up in Scotland (Stirling) last week and the temp was 6 degrees cooler than down here in Essex, but no rain, and the ride-outs were great.
