De todos los armarios rústicos hechos de pallets que he visto, él tuyo es el que más me ha gustado por el color de la madera, le hace ser rústico al 100%.
Just imported my ranger from Asia where fog lights aren’t required. The importer has quoted me £300 to install a fog light so it will pass its MOT. Does this seem reasonable?
It sounds alot but to be fair it seems around similar price that other dealers would quote after a bit of a search. you could go down the route of doing it yourself assuming there is nothing set up in regards to wiring and buttons for a fog. You could buy a wiring harness for a light bar, they do them on ebay for around £10 and buy one or two led fogs similar to the ones in the video and do it yourself. the harness comes with a button you can locate on the dash to turn on and off. They have all the connections to connect to the battery etc a switch for on off. You may need to extend the wire to reach the back and you would have to run the harness probably under the vehicle its quite straight forward but that another option.
I actually did some snooping via your registration and found its 2.2. Wish me luck gonna attempt myself today or tomorrow. No-one wants to do it, or looking at 3 to 4 weeks wait. I'm thinking ill take your advice and give some wd40 24hrs or so to work it's magic.
Yes all pipes were reconnected I ended up putting a shield around it but that just blocked the heating from the engine. But yeah maybe keeping the bottom part of air filter though I'm not sure the new filter would fit in or finding something where it would

The most common issue is a failed actuator. These are available separately and as cheap generic parts. However there are new turbos with actuators available on eBay from Hong Kong for only £350 or so. Anyone have experience of these units? Is there duty and VAT to pay as they come through customs?
Not had experience with these but you can get the recon ones off eBay with the option of part exing your old non working turbo. They also come with new actuator. I think they were around the £300/£350 mark and I think about £100/£150 off if you send your turbo in px. I ended up hanging on to my old turbo but the on fitted is a recon in the video.
Thanks and yeah probably should have taken it off but it's pretty bulletproof as it has a sapphire crystal glass on it. I have whacked it numerous times and it dosn't mark the glass at all
I'd say that sounds like that's completely knackered. I would double check that your multimeter is on the right settings to be sure and will only be able to tell if you have a good rectifier and its reading on all
@Bone T thanks for your reply, since then I checked the battery voltage it was low 11.6v with the bike not running , then I checked it while running and it went up to 14.4v ,then I put hhen lights on and revved up to 5000rpm and the voltage was still over 14v , so with this I'd say the stator and rectifier seem good there doing there job🤷♂️ it's got to be the battery cells
Fogs came from ebay I brought years ago so had all ready. There on ebay still though. Link to some similar, you can probably get a pair cheaper if you have a bit of a search. The reflecters just do a search for stick on reflectors. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263499078766?hash=item3d59c4dc6e:g:VP8AAOSwFEhdyxtg&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoK4JhRLO39RjJHU%2Fh9im5ixmWECFZIrM1RdZiZw4gc5JJflYtNAGJjt8NbpA5XC1cNxSOTqAlXOSbK5FtiTmS1dmhIFS1FGPdYZIPsbkN3YAoCqS6MFUxoGueS97MczjboqKiyBSKOSbYTHIsfwCMn13Y9HOdIu4vsba9dXPtF4jlq85ppQ2iR0VGB%2Fa8bLpe3zZMTjPs7jApCVKsrCvY8I%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5as-vn6YA
Simple & clear demonstration, straight to the point , thx man , i really needed to know whether my scooter has a rectifier or a stator problem....... ( hot) gratefulness from Hurghada, Egypt ✅
@@babyloncrusade1 Thanks for the video, but my Aussie XLT does not have the extra dial in the middle of the switch to adjust. I can adjust it externally as you suggest.😃
It might be the in-cab adjustment comes with the tech pack for the XLT (my 2021 XLT has this and it also came with the tech pack) and maybe standard on Wildtrack and Raptor.
Thks four your excellent video I have a Piaggio Zip 2T other day I drive and same one stop me and tell me my rear lights is blinking after 2 days all my lights is blown front and rear I’m surprise my fuse don’t blown also when I drive in full throttle same times is cut don’t the speed what you think is my regulator fault thank you help appreciate
Could well be got this info from another site full link below. If the voltage regulator is intermittently having problems then it’s most definitely the source of your bulb problems. This is due to spikes of high voltage jumping through the system which in turn blow the bulb filaments and/or headlight fuses. www.driven2automotive.com/blog/why-do-my-headlight-bulbs-keep-blowing/#:~:text=If%20the%20voltage%20regulator%20is,filaments%20and%2For%20headlight%20fuses.
Seems very bizarre that there would be no adjustment on a newer model they might just be in a different place on top or on side. Not sure if this video helps but at 3.51 mins in shows a different adjustment ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dT8gpStkWRY.html
@@babyloncrusade1 ,very true. I have to use a screwdriver behind the headlight. My truck is an XLT 4x4 FX4. Maybe that quick adjustment is available on the Lariat trim package.
Thanks a lot for the video! I’m in the same situation and was thinking the best rear fog light shape and place to install it on my LHD Ranger and I really like yours. Do you reckon it is enough to pass the MOT? Are the fog lights certified? Would you have a link to the very same uou bought? Cheers!
I had these in the shed for a couple of years. I'm on a facebook page and I asked the same question as didn't want to fit them if they were not going to pass an MOT. A guy had said he had the same lights on his trailer and used them as both fog and brake lights so I'm assuming they would but can't say 100% that they will. I'll have to wait until next September to find out. Just dug out the original packaging and they do have a little CE sticker on not sure whether that means certified. just did a search on eBay as can't find my original purchase www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334125576219?hash=item4dcb6fb01b:g:DrwAAOSw6mVg4pz1&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAACUPYe5NmHp%252B2JMhMi7yxGiTJkPrKr5t53CooMSQt2orsSprd4IgPv6LBzlteBBg9Pe6JU94QJDzx%252Bnt%252BYOAEs6SHvs191XP1s%252FWtO%252BJenGsI1Kp2WbzLCqQ7GGspWXKyg8y0dBvkn%252FOwHLUAAPokhz8veh9LuKbcPeeFcSRg9hWqsfQT8GxCiwTlwhCwQIQch%252Bve178u7Cw9i0ZIxXIDoVjNlC7swsheZNCeE2imof2pDHpq9Tf%252FoplI2bqhRvv2J0sA16x%252B0kVCksRaUNl6c8Xv9bNxl4s8Iy4R%252B1RAywKnmTbs9A6idMnuOU0Mp4ShfbF8hkkp2r39T4bc3jv3hlAQN2farSTZLQOoxD1MtuoY8VJaqO5BaY%252F6SjoPdvGZHud5Lh2v28UtiPnv0t6uLG43nUH4vIZVNSSed1I11F2mOA%252BAein1aXlMdZFViYeZY6RiO9HaRGJD8J3CqH4Gaoinj4U31RU%252FpkHL%252F5U8KVGcGPKJkuhlE%252FUV1NXKWqTXK%252Bk%252FEpjkeeIEPv%252B2PyEPNRzbanZ%252Bb96SSC1lylNTyvbOFr9DEA2Rgw%252BlJLxIo4EOS6MP%252BDUDIkJSbpG5zQE3%252FlYfBRFpEYO6I4wJTTADsu4cWjBPxoAM1aREMydeVRYyk2UE6iXNqjjMiKTyiOkmm68ilks7KLcpoLuk0n%252FJcvuyi5PyAh5cK%252FNtlOocSV0lRSPzCTKSYor0IP7RpGppfvSdvpAX5y0LGeB0YpVNonioOBqSWON%252BlqeRfzuYF45i62ps33HdUcQLB2GFXPvr2Hpg%253D%7Cclp%3A2334524%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR8rUvaukXw
