THANK YOU! No jointer or planer needed. Great looking project. "Easy" diy projects shouldn't start off with running ur boards through the planer. 🙄

Great video! I want to build a large flat-screen TV stand, and I am going to do it with your ideas/plan! I have searched RU-vid and only found videos requiring TONS of wood working tools and machines! I live in an apartment and don't have a table saw, router table, drill press, planer, dove tail joint cutter, etc etc etc... I DO have the hand tools required to build a cabinet like this one, and I have access to FREE pallets, so this video is just what I'm looking for! Thanks for sharing! (Also becoming a new subscriber and looking forward to more videos!)

Looks spot on. Silver spray paint on the outside?
@babyloncrusade1
@babyloncrusade1 3 года назад
Could paint it. The wood used was naturally weathered outside for 6 months

Could be larch then as tends to go a grayish colour once left to the elements. Again, looks great.

@babyloncrusade1
@babyloncrusade1 5 лет назад
Charlene Cholwick it's not stained. The pallet wood is just weathered naturally outside. If I get newish pallets I will leave them outside for a few months in the sun and rain to get the desired colour

Beautiful looking cabinet. Using wood glue in addition to your nails and screws would go a long way to making the cabinet last for years and years. With the wood being old already, nails and screws tend to loosen over time, where the glue will not. Great job though.

@asalbert79

What's that in inches?
@babyloncrusade1
@babyloncrusade1 5 лет назад
There are 25.4 mm to an inch so if its 800mm you would just divide that by 25.4 which = 31.49 or something like that

Charlene Cholwick the wood isn't stained. It's just naturally weathered. If I get a newish pallet that looks like new wood I would leave them outside for around 3 to for months. The wind rain sun and sometimes snow would then weather them to the color you see. If your using older pallets they should be a bit weathered allready
