I really needed this reminder on stretching for energy...THANK YOU! Btw, miss chi at all? I moved to the country, too, and find going back every other year more than enough fill. Loving' country living!
People like to slam on aikido, but one of the things i liked about it was that we worked with staffs...uh, staves..staffeses? Have fun and explore. Love this channel.
4:28 "Whatever your martial art background is, work it in that form..." I do BJJ, from what I've seen the locks, chokes, and control is similar, however this is the stance part of the video... If anyone knows the common BJJ stance, you'd get it. lmao Fire vid though, holy mackerel! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for existing, I've been out of shape, being a lazy bastard but this video motivated me and did as much as could in the video. Boy I'm rusty, exhausted lol
Oooh, these look proper vicious, I'm gonna practice these tomorrow, thanks. In my mind these will be useful probably in a life or death situation otherwise will get into trouble with the law.
@backtoprimal - Question about footwork/stance, which I assume might in another video. Stance - Kali/FMA puts us with the dominant hand in lead (opposite to both Western & Thai boxing). Footwork & general movement off of triangle footwork?
This is noticeably different from my Silat. not so much where the attacks land, but the guarding of the unused arm and ending placement of the attacking arm.
I will never say that one is better than the other, but I like watching different Silat video's. It's always interesting to see the differences between my silat style and other Silat.
liver on right side, you struck nice with a right shovel hook. But this (very good video)is more"old bareknuckle boxing" not any flowering open hand silat.
5:43 'I want you to be Phoebe right now' - Did not have that on my Paul Ingram workouts 2024 bingo card 🤣 Seriously though, cardio was psychologically punching back at me today and I needed something, ANYTHING to take my mind off it without feeling like I gave up. This appeared on my subs front page between sets and this was a lovely active recovery and kind of pep-talk to boot. Thank you for all that you do. You're not just there to teach us new things and give workouts, you have our backs at the rough times as well 🤘
Movements ❤❤ very shrap just now I was watching your new tutorial of knife and now I saw this it just lovely by making two different channel you made it easy for us Respect MASTER❤
