They werre born with EDS. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is a rare genetic disorder that affects the body's ability to produce collagen, which supports connective tissues. Connective tissues include proteins like collagen, providing support and elasticity to the skin, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs. EDS can affect almost every organ system, causing symptoms that range from mildly loose joints to life-threatening complications.
Interesting that they start off with the "Brother Louie" medley and continue with it throughout the first portion of the song! The original version of "Bang Bang", by the way, was by Joe Cuba and influenced Donna Summer's "Bad Girls."
I listened to Lee Michael's first album when I was just a teeny-bopper, 16 or 17 years old. It blew me away! Guess you had to be there. Just raw vulnerability in every line.
Man does this song instantly take me back to my teenage years! Am I that old? One good thing about getting old? It happens to everyone. Nobody is immune or singular.
I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. I bought the album and this was the only song on it that I liked. I always considered it a waste of money. I am glad that I can listen to this single on RU-vid whenever I like.
Know what ya mean there, been on that road. That was the big disappointment when buying albums. That's why Utube is so great. I can pull up any song ever recorded and loop it forever if I want to.
I heard them sing this in 1970 at the atlanta pop festival in Byron, Georgia. It was a gorgeous rendition and I fell in love with it. That three days was like living in a dream. Chambers, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Joplin and so many more great artists of our time. Many have played and sung this song. Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart brought tears to my eyes but my favorite has always been this incredibly soulful harmony by Chambers Brothers.
