Doctor, I used lumify 5 hours and 10 minutes after my last application. I know it says you can re apply every 6-8 hours. Is that an issue using it 50 minutes early?
I was wearing Acuvue Trueeye until the Y were discontinued. I cried. I switched to Acuvue Oasis Max but after a couple hours I had to take them out. So dry !!!! My doc told me to suck it up. Long story short.... I tried Infuse today. Looks like I found my new lense. So far so good 🎉
For years I wore proclear by cooper but found I had more dryness at the end of my 12 hour night shifts as I got a lil older. Switched to clariti which I thought were better at first but after a year this is what I found. They were a little harder to put in than I was used to (32 years contact wearer so its not that I don’t know what I’m doing) Once in they stay put well but that also made them pretty hard to remove at the end of the day. There were a few times I injured my eye taking them out because they were so suctioned to my eyeball. Ouch!! Never had that happen with any other lens. I think this was also because they fit like a glove but didn’t stay as moist. Lastly the thing that is the total deal breaker for me is that makeup that would migrate throughout the day would stick to them so bad that I would often have to just replace the lens mid day because I couldn’t even clean it off. Again that was a first for all lenses I’ve used in the past. Trialing Precision 1 right now and hoping for a better fit but I may end back up with proclear until Cooper decides not to supply anymore.
I hope the infuse (called Ultra 1 day in Europe) comes out with an astigmatism version. I wanted to like the Oasys because where I live they’re by far the cheapest daily silicone hydrogel lenses available. Unfortunately, other than their regular ones, the astigmatism version feels uncomfortable in my eyes immediately. I’m still new to lenses so currently I’m shopping around a bit. Tried Biofinity and they seem fine but I really want to go to daily lenses because I don’t plan on wearing them every day
I'm new to contats. I'm on my 2nd day wearing these. They don't make my eyes dry/burn but I can feel them in my eye which is bothering me. Also my close vision is slightly blurry and hard to read up close.
O ware acuvue oasys about 23years i think. I have fotophovia doctor said to mee last month. I think i will try them i have dark eyes too. I cant undertand what they do to the eye but its ok.
I've been wearing progressives since I was 17 with an astigmatism. I tried once, because that's all they had in like 2005 lol to get contacts. They were awful. Finally going back and will try to get some that work and have been watching reviews hoping that in the 20 years the advancements will get me out of wearing glasses. I am so bad about wearing mine especially with sports.
I wore Gas perm for over 10 years and, although they were tolerable, they never stopped to be uncomfortable. Couple of years ago I started using hybrids, what a difference. They are a blessing. Too expensive though.
Do toric multifocal lenses always contain an element of MONO vision? I got my first toric multi focal lenses recently, and to my dismay, they are also slightly mono-vision. Right eye far and left eye close, but the contrast is less severe than when I tried mono vision the first time without multi-focals. My optometrist says that is just the way it is done. Is that even true? I see okay up close, but my distance vision is not comfortable. My right eye sees clearly, but my left eye is blurry and my brain is supposed to compensate for it, but I keep feeling the blur in my left eye and my distance vision is not crisp. Near vision is great.
Im thinking about getting the ultra my problem is when im outside my eyea dry out or if im watching tv they tend to dry out so im probably going to try these..
I bought this daily basis contact lens. Can I use Bio true( Bausch+ lomb) solution to clean this contact lenses? and what is the expiry date of this lens? I mean Upto how many years can I use this daily basis contact lens?
Any idea what I could use with astigmatism with very very very dry eyes, that eye drops have not helped , and i can only wear my contacts for an hour before they dry up in my eye and get crumpled up. This was with dailies so im going through 2-3 pairs a day 😭 my eyes are both -3.00 i think
Some sites says that the toric version have orientation marks on them. But i cant see any. Also the blue tint. Cant see. What is the purpose of blue tint?
I am new to using contact lenses and was prescribed Precision 1 daily contacts. They are very comfortable to wear throughout the day. I find them a bit challenging to take out, but it might be because it is a new experience for me. After some trial and error, I found that moving the lens to the lower part of the eye and then gently pinching seems to work pretty well. Overall, very please with the product.
Kind of a late comment but this video just popped up in my recommendations. I was a daily user of clear eyes cooling comfort redness reliever drops for a long time. I didnt know about rebound redness and how redness reliever drops can make it worse. It was so bad i could barely open my eyes in the morning they were so dry and red and burning. I would have to put in like 10 drops per eye just for any kind of relief. So i did a little research and found out about these. I have been using them for a little bit now along with systane to help with dry eye and while they do absolutely work better and i dont need to use as much or often i still suffer from pretty bad rebound redness. It's not as intense as with clear eyes but its still a noticeable problem. So my question is, is there anyway to reverse rebound redness? If i just stop using drops all together will my eyes eventually go back to "normal"? if you will. I'm actually a little scared i might have done some permanent damage to my eyes from using drops for so long. Any advice?
I've been wearing Biofinity Toric XRs. Now that I'm 40 and the ability to read fine print isn't as good as it used to be, I had my eye doctor prescribe me with Biofinity Toric Multifocals. I just picked them up yesterday and I've been wearing them. My visions almost like it was in my late 20s, early 30s. The way they work is weird, but believe me, they work! I heard there was some adaptation as your brain learns what to do with the "2 images" being projected on your retina. I really don't notice any of that. So the adaptation isn't long at all. Only thing is that instead of 1 rainbow halo around the street lights and traffic lights at night, there's 2.
ok the markings on the lenses irritate my eyes feels like a grain of sand in my eye B + L INFUSE they have a 4 hurts they also have a 2 hurts but not as much any suggestions for " no markings" contacts?
I love my Acuvue Moist daily lenses. I've tried the Oasys and they make my eyes itch and hurt, I hate the Oasys. I want to try the infuse. I do a lot of computer work and Moist has been the best for me.
I have astigmatism and these Total 1 lenses are extremely comfortable and fit really well! I literally can't feel them when wearing them. These are perfectly fine for people with astigmatism, so don't feel like they won't work for us, because they're awesome.
Help plz from past 7 months I do have external stye on my right eye.. due to my pregnancy gyne adviced me not take medicine to the style later it's has become hard and doctor told me it's very tiny it has spread quite difficult to remove m worried it looks ugly on my eye plz help it's almost months old external stye which is not round in shape it's flat like a curve
I was annoyed about having to boil it after use. I waited about an hour one day, and it wouldn’t return back to its liquid form, and it wouldn’t re activate again at all, and I had to send it back.
so far the best toric contacts is biofinity toric monthly for me ,so comfortable i can wear for the whole day no dry eyes. the only issue i have is sometimes either right or left breaks or cracks within a month so i have to throw away both and replace with new set
