What does everyone think about if rocket League introduced a customization option where you could shift the position of the hitbox on your car up or down back or forward a certain amount obviously there has to be limits
Nice work buddy. Glad it proves my point that the octane and fennec are not the best fit in their hitbox. I honestly hate that the community is mislead to believe those 2 cars are the best hitbox and best fitting car in their hitbox. It's clearly untrue. It's obvious on here that the road hog or harbringer are the best fitting cars in the octane category. Also I don't not understand at all why they decide that they should have the hitboxes so far off the ground which create and not good fit on most of these cars like the skyline I'm looking at why on Earth are most of these hybrid hip boxes just a mile above the vehicle literally if they were lowered it would be perfect which is the case for many of these vehicles it really gets under my skin LOL because if they shifted the hitbox on the Nissan skyline down to where the top of it matches the roof of the vehicle then it would be amazing

U can oc the bluetooth connection on ds4windows and u dont need to be doing any of this bs. I get 0.7ms avg input delay and sometimes gets up to 1ms but thats it
i have made more than 100k euro in 1 year only from Lol. Listen, never but never bet on pre game, always bet live games. Everyone should know this rule. The odd doesn`t matter in league of Legends, also, there are a lot of fixed games. If you are rank Master + you should smell the game and the direction that the game goes. I put 90k from my 100k into BTC. Now i make 5k euro per month from Lol. Best regions to bet are : LPL,LCK, SuperLiga, Prime League, Italian league, VCS. LEC is also ok. Avoid LCS with all cost.
ngl personally the venom is my favorite bc its free, its front and back are super accurate even if the top isnt, and it's lever and height are also good (the lever on the hybrid hitbox is somehow longer than the dominus' lever??)
1. You don't *inherently* want more [faster] hardware sensitivity in your sticks, though. Less travel of the analog stick means smaller arc-length per degree of rotation, which means less accuracy. You get to a given point faster, but you sacrifice control. This is why taller sticks/stick extenders exist - to increase accuracy. I wouldn't call that a win for the Thrustmaster, unless you know specifically that the player is prioritizing "exiting the deadzone as fast as possible", or "getting to max tilt as fast as possible". 2. Regarding physical input lag, you should consider that, when double-tapping an input/rapidly pressing something, you also need to take into consideration the "reset time/distance" (something that mechanical keyboard fanatics are well aware of). Shorter "pre-travel", and shorter overall travel distance means less time "coming back up to a ready position", which can mean, not only better ergonomics (less motion/travel for the user), but also faster response in various games, etc., depending on need. 3. DualSense is an ergonomics nightmare. Mostly conical handles means they're constantly trying to squeeze out of the hand (think: holding a thick icicle/a slick cone - it's going to pop up, out of your hand with any grip force applied), and the lack of grip texture exacerbates that issue. On top of that, the controller being the heavier of the stock/first party controllers means you must grip it with more force in order to hold it for a given amount of time, which leads to fatigue, and afore mentioned issues with a conical shape. Then, there is a slight curve in the handle that juts into the hand at a point where the hand wasn't designed to take point pressure (where as Xbox controllers have a flat/no-apex shape on the outer side of the handles, spreading out the force). And if all of that weren't bad enough, the grips are the closest to parallel to each other, meaning more "wrist extension", since nobody's shoulders are only 4-5 inches apart from each other, and our arm naturally come in at a angle when holding something the size of a controller. Xbox has a much better "angle of attack" of the handles to combat that issue, and it's glorious. Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons actually take the gold in this consideration, though, seeing as you can detach them, and have them at "neutral arm" position, independent from each other, allowing one to keep their shoulders back/not roll their shoulders inward to hold them, and keep wrists at any angle they please. This is why split keyboards are inherently more ergonomic. I'd kill for a lightweight, split DualSense, with staggered analog sticks (D-pad being in the neutral thumb position is absolutely terrible modern pad design). -------------- Amazing work. I'm *so* glad someone is doing it. A long while, I gave serious thought to attempting something this in-depth, but I just didn't have the energy or time. Personally, I'd love to see someone do a video about how enabling/disabling certain features in games, and on systems, affects input lag. I'm fairly certain I've felt notable input lag when having 3D audio enabled on my Xbox One X, and *maybe* my PS5. Definitely on my 3DS - Stereo sound allows for noticeably better responsiveness of inputs. Also, things like having rumble enabled/disabled, having CEC on or off, having mics on, headphones plugged into the controller or not, using stereo vs 5.1 audio versus Atmos for Headphones, DTS:X, Tempest, etc., using live/online services/digital assistants. I'm also pretty sure disabling screen recording frees up CPU cycles and stress on Xbox One X, at the very least, and maybe PS5 users need to see something about that, too.
i found the second part of these settings (configs) after i pressed X on my ps controller when rocket league was selected in big picture, on the right hand side there is a controller icon
how are you meant to know if your ports are the fastest ones on an AMD ryzen system.. i cant even tell which are chipset ports and which are cpu on my PC using HWINFO and Devmgmt.. all seem to show chipset. On a 7800x3d.
My input buffer miss is constantly at 128+ whether I use default, STS, or CSTS. It causes crazy rubber banding and I don't know how to resolve it. Any guidance is appreciated.
IDK if you're still making content anywhere or not but I've just come across your channel and this older content is FANTASTIC stuff. I wish someone would get this comprehensive on the popular controllers of 2024 such as Apex 4, V3P, Scuf Envision pro, the many Gamesir controllers etc etc. it would be so helpful. I have both the T4K & V3P but recently came across Gamepadla that shows how slow the Flydigi controllers really are. I'm guessing it has to do with some of what you covered in this video. Not to mention how truly fast the T4K supposedly is. That thing is an absolute steal at $35-40
can you make a video about emi interference on usb cables and their impact on controllers and input lag? I wonder if having ferrite ring cores on a usb cable is really usefull. I've been getting a lot of stuttering in Rocket league lately and I have a feeling it has to do with power delivry or usb
I’m so confused by this. I returned 2 series x controllers because of how slow the input felt. The dual shock 4 (which apparently has higher input lag felt so much faster.
Processor. Just because a controller polls doesn’t mean it always has up to date or on time data ready. If it doesn’t that extra poll means nothing. Xbox controllers have good processors with high resolution sticks that mitigate most of it.
heyo maybe u are answering it 3 years later, ^^ so rn i play RL on a DS4 controller, maybe only 10% of speedflips flip cancel are in the good time of like 40ms, with an xbox one controller I'm way more consistant, and have like 30% good cancels, and have the felling that the DS4 sticks are way heavier, but in the video here u just prove it isnt true, mhmmmm dunno what to do ^^ I'm way to slow with the DS4 controller to do perfect flip cnancels,
The diagonal bullshit pisses me off... im at .90 and my diagonal flips take less distance than my up/down/left/right.. im insta diagonal flipping only in upright/upleft/downright/downleft... so no clue what to do. verified with joy stick self test that the distance is wayyyy less to flip diagonally.
This is very informative. I'm getting 3.4 ms with my 2013 launch DS4 v1 while plugged in both the front and back compared to my old pc which only has usb 2.0 while my newer pc has usb3.2 gen1 and gen2 maybe that's why I used to get crap latency. To be honest, bluetooth is the best way to connect your controller (3.4ms as well). The AX210 wifi card is currently the best card right now imo. Get the ones with the antenna and you're good to go. I just avoid buying the USB dongles, even the more expensive ones, they are all terrible and unreliable cuz they lack the necessary hardware. Just to add to this, the fake DS4 is just terrible it has 10+ms and terrible audio. Stop buying those crap. specs: ryzen 5600, b550m steel series, 16gb 3600mhz, ax210ngw m.2 card + 2 antennas
how do you guys use DS4 wired? It seems to be not designed to be wired when playing, as USB type B does not connect securely and tends to unplug itself all the time. Is there a hack for fixing this?
