My daughter 3 years old but she doesn't speek ...at the age of 15 month she start to bubbling. .dada baba..just two word now she speaks also two word.. baba ..dada.she has a hearing prolem..its found when she was 2year old.now she has a hearing aid..so i want to know that, can my daughter speak?Her speech therapy is running. What about a child who has great vocabulary but literally repeats everything in a form of a question? Like, ok it's time to go ... He says "It's time to go?". Or put your shoes on.. "put my shoes on?". Or wow, that's really nice.. "that's really nice?". Its literally everything we say to him...
I worked in Early Childhood Education with Head Start children (3, 4yr olds) and considered working with Autistic children. I think this video just gave me the push to go back and pursue it 😊❤❤
My baby is almost 2 & she literally converses in sentences, but I can't comprehend alot of it. I hate it cause her dad can - or atleast he acts like he can.. I don'treally think he does though 😅 there's no way he can. But anyway she says I love you, what you doin & when you ask her, she says nothin or expresses what shes doing.. she knows to tell me when she needs to changed, & when shes hungry, etc. she can count to 10.. she knows her abc's. she sings. she says when shes ready to go nightnight. And plays, but she plays by herself alot. her siblings are away at the moment. She's attended a daycare very briefly cause we moved. wondering how do either teach her to talk more clear or help w understanding her better.

This info is a bit outdated now. Understanding Gestalt language processing and interventions for this, will help us understand Echolalia's purpose in communication. It is not to be discouraged but understood. It's different way of language development that has different stages of progression
I wanna be an advocate for late talkers. Why, do you ask? When I was a little girl, I found out that my baby brother Seth didn't say his first word yet. Because of that, I was very mean to him. I bullied him. I bit his little ear. I still feel extremely guilty about that many years later. Now, I wanna help late talkers say their first words.
