Well I really really loved sunbreak sry but the wirebug action is just unmatched but iceborne was also a great game but still the third and fourth gen were better
People forget they can play games but you dont got to finish them. Just have fun then move on after you dont have fun anymore. Life isnt long enough to stress about not playing what or finishing what, just do what makes you happy
Monster Hunter Wilds will get everything great from MH World & MH Rise. For me? I get losted in this huge MH world hunting map :( Monsters runaway from me & I losted track of them. Everything was to big & run as a small guy in this huge world? Nahhh that is to much, time is on the clock so you need to move! It's so complicated & hunting them is not that clear, I losted in that, so for me, MH Rise is best option, and gameplay is faster, combat more dynamic, you got mount your ride on, it will be on MH Wilds so it's gonna be great :)
Played all the games and this game and Demon souls are by far the worst when it comes to enemies. The bosses are so cheap that cheesing makes sense. Most bosses can attack you when they aren't even facing your direction. I still don't understand how people are even able to stagger them when you have to hit them with 4+ heavy attacks in a quick amount of time. The most frustrating enemies to fight are the big ones because the camera can't even see their entire body
Similar experience to myself! But Hollow Knight was that game for me. Getting beating by a boss and grumbling for 5minutes as I slog back to them just to get slapped down again until I finally emerged victorious was adddictive
Yeah, Wilds is definitely set to be World 2 with touches of Rise, as should be expected. Capcom would have to have poisoned themselves with the latest western plague of self-destruction to not see what worked, what didn't, and what most people want, and thus give what essentially amounts to a bigger, more refined version of World.
If you want to try out a really difficult game, then how about you play tomb raider 3 on the PSX. Without a guide. Most of the time you don't even know where to go or what to do due to everything being so well blend in and due to limited amount of save crystals and health kits. Not to mention you can barely see much due to everything being so hard on the PSX port. Lud's gate is a nightmare and if you don't pick a specific location first, Antarctica will be much harder due to you having less supplies and less weapons.
I think the cycle is switching with world getting more praised than rise when usually it’s the over the top version of the game that gets more praised but that wasn’t the case with rise. Maybe the cycle is switching or maybe rise was just a slight fumble. We will see with the game that comes after wilds
Rise is more fun to play keeping it a buck. World is amazing don't get me wrong but they streamlined rise so well and the inclusion of the wire bugs make combat and traversal so much better. World is better in biomes sure enough but the reason we're here is to hunt monsters.
I prefer grounded combat more than too over the top flashy. It feels more cinematic, realistic and dramatic to me. And the grounded versions are more story driven too
Chaotic Gore Magala just makes me think of a caterpillar if we could somehow interrupt its metamorphosis in the cocoon stage. Where the caterpillar basically becomes goop in the cocoon before changing to a butterfly.
World is the best selling single game, however the Resident Evil series still has more total sales with 154 million to Monster Hunter's 97 million. However, if you'd like to only consider more recent releases like RE7 and 8 vs Monster Hunter World and Rise (which I think is a valid way to look at it too!) then Monster Hunter does come out on top with about 40 million to Resident Evil's 23.
Easily my new favorite game, though Noita isn't far behind. Both games that you can just pick up and play, yet also have a beautiful continuity and customizability to them, while also having awesome existential lore If there was any single nitpick I had for cassette beasts, some bosses are TOO well hidden and I end up accidentally overgrinding trying to find them. Other than that, easy GOTY
Being able to go hitless after apending 1000 hours of autism remembering every tiny detail is not fair. This game is jank as hell and quite often straight bullshit. I still like it but I hope they go back to their older philosophy
What this video doesn´t mention is that it has both local co-op and online multiplayer, I have been playing it with my brother all day and I really want to get it for myself. The funny part is we both chose Bansheep as our starter, we used the same remaster tree and they have both have names with a similar theme mine is Azrael and his is Raphael.
I personally love elden ring and i dont get the community who is mad about different builds. The same is with game same genshin or wuthering waves. Why be mad someone enjoys a game or build? Why be mad that i dont have fun playing hollow knight or inscryption? Why try to force someone to play something that you love and make them not want to do so even more. Just let them try by themselves and maybe they will love it as much as you and maybe they wont.
Some notes. 1. "I'm gonna refer to Zero 1 2 3 and 4 as MegaMan Zero" - A better idea would be to just say "series" instead of "game". That way everyone knows it's the entire catalogue of the MegaMan Zero games and not just a specific one (like 4 which is the best). 2. Another game with great Speed, Precision and Flow is PIZZA TOWER. EDIT: 6 minutes in and you haven't mentioned Pizza Tower even in passing, which leads me to believe you haven't PLAYED it! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?!?!?! 3. 8:09 - Believe it or not, I did NOT pick up on bouncing off of those things when I first encountered that room and I thought this was a Burst Tech test, and that I had to somehow fly across the area with my burst techs, like the spinning kick or the laser (if you use the laser in the air it propels you backward VERY far).
"Gravity Circuit feels like a game made by developers with a decade of experience" I like to think it's more of what you said earlier when you said either industry veterans or gamers who have picked up a lot of game design sense, and I think it's the latter. And I think that's the best part. The Indie Scene is BLOWING UP with all these new dev studies who are CLEARLY comprised of gamers who spent most of their lives gaming and learning about games and UNDERSTANDING games and why they love games so much, and making games that are basically compilations of everything they love, and you can TELL.
Hardest fight goes to leshen. The single most annoying monster in any game I've played made all the worse by it not even being a real monster, cause its from a crossover. My desire to not torture myself rapidly outweighed my desire to get the annoying alert off of my screen every time I booted up the game.
For me, before any boss fight in souls games, i spend all my souls, because of how unforgiving the game is, i know i will die an infinite amount of times, and i like that unforgiving aspect of the game, because its designed in a way where you realize your mistakes and you have no excuses to say its not your fault
You know my girlfriend hated survival horror because its doing the opposite of what most games are trying to achieve. Know limited resources, only saving in certain locations, knowing when its time to run or stand your ground. Limited time of about 3 hours of her playing the Resident Evil 1 remake, she finally goes, I get it. Time when you understand what the core philosophy of the game is all about.
